I have had the worst experience with AFHCO Property Management. I was a tenant at Calderwood Lifestyle estate. When I moved in I did an inspection report with the building manager and same happened when I moved out. The building manager stated the things that I had to fix/charged for fixing. There were damages that existed when I moved and that was noted down. I received my move out report and they charged me for cracked tiles that were already cracked before I moved in and they also charged for cleaning of the unit. The building manager explained to Peter Hlongwane and Salome Mokoena that they should not charge me for those things as the I found the tiles broken, and the unit was cleaned when I moved out. He requested that they refund me the amount charged. I followed up with an email asking if anyone is actioning my request. It's been almost 2 weeks sending emails to the customer support email as well as Peter Hlongwane and Salome Mokoena. None of them have gotten back to me. Let alone acknowledge the receipt of my email. They seem to have ignored the email from the building manager and the email that I sent. I've requested for the the statement to be reviewed and rectified.
I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding the poor service and misleading pricing I experienced at your Mayfield Square (Daveyton) branch on Saturday. When I visited the store, I saw a promotional sign displaying Savanna Dry 330ml x 2 for R180. However, when I went to pay, the gentleman who identified himself as the manager, and was not wearing a name tag informed me that the promotion did not apply to Savanna Dry but to another beer that had been removed from the shelf. I explained that, according to the Consumer Protection Act, the price advertised under a specific product should be honoured for that product. The manager refused to sell the items at the advertised price, claimed it was a mistake, and instead put my products aside while proceeding to assist other customers. When I asked how the matter could be resolved, he said he didn’t know and could not help me. This experience was both frustrating and disappointing. It reflects false advertising, poor customer service, and a lack of accountability for the store’s errors. I request that this matter be investigated, and that appropriate action be taken to ensure staff are trained on proper customer service and compliance with consumer law. I would also appreciate feedback on the outcome of this complaint. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

My car went it for repairs after an accident. I was asked to pay 70% of the access amount upfront towards the Renew-it before any work can be done. I made the payment and waited for an update. I had to always call to get an update, and the person that was allocated to my case was never available. When I eventually get hold of them, they give me outdated information. I feel that there is no sense of urgency from the staff. I was told by my insurance that my car will be written off. I requested for my refund and was told it takes about 7 working days. It's been over 7 days and I still don't have my refund. I called to find out what's happening and was told they will come back to me once they hear from the head office. There is lack of care and no communication from the staff. I must say, the service has been poor from the beginning. I'm still waiting for my refund
I would like to thank Iwyze car insurance for assisting me with my claim. Although there were a bit of hiccups along the way, but Mashudu Siphuma made it easy by constantly communicating and always being prompt in her responses. Thank you for being professional and always willing to assist.
I would like to thank Ntombi from DSV for handling my case and ensuring that I get the delivery of my card. I'm please to say that my card was finally delivered. Thank you Ntombi for the efficiency and excellent work done!
I'm disappointed with service from DSV. I was expecting to get a delivery of my bank card in 3-5 working days. However that did not happen. They call and confirm my availability and confirm the date the card will be delivered. The dates have come and gone. I'm going into the 3rd week now without my bank card. The keep on rescheduling the delivery and they cannot even provide a reason. I'm starting to think that they don't have my card anymore. This is so unprofessional and very frustrating. I would like to advise people to opt for the bank delivery. The convenience of having the card delivered to my address turned out to be a huge inconvenience.
My sister made a booking with Asante Mountain Lodge through Bookings.com in November for the 25 - 26th December 23. She then made a separate booking which was not done under bookings.com. There was a contact number - 0723297597 for Charmaine Shirindzi on the website and we contacted that person who gave us the account details where the payment needs to be made. She sent us an invoice and the payment was made. Unfortunately we had to cancel the booking which was done on the 14th Dec 23 (10 days before the actual date). We received the refund, however the one that was an addition to the original booking, payment made to CTS TRAVEL AND TOURS was not refunded. We contacted Charmaine to request a refund. She was rude and unprofessional and told us she will not give us a refund and said we can choose another date. I was forced to choose a date (31 March 24) of which I cannot fulfil now due to unforeseen circumstances. I sent my cancellation request on 05 Feb 24. She is plain refusing to refund us and this puts us in a very difficult situation. Both cancellations were done well within the cancellation timeframe. I asked her to send me the cancellation policy and she sent a document, not a company letterhead and looked like it was typed by a 2 year old. The whole thing was conducted in a very unprofessional manner which is extremely displeasing. DO NOT DO ANY BOOKING THROUGH CTS TRAVEL AND TOURS. Charmaine Shirindzi is a *****ster!
Afhco have a very bad customer service, and false advertising. They promise that when you pay your rent for 3 consecutive months you get a 5% discount, and for 6 months its 10% discount on your rent. However, they have a way of recovering that money by increasing water consumption and sewerage. They justify that the water is charged according to your consumption, I cannot argue too much on that however I don't understand the ridiculous escalation. The sewerage part I don't understand it at all. They charge from less than R100 on other months, to almost R200. Just because they are trying to recover the 10% discount they promised. The customer service agents take forever to respond to emails and when they do, they only provide half solutions. Which forces one to call the call center and you find another *********** agent who's not willing to help and tell you to take what they tell you or send another email if you still have queries. KARABO from AFHCO was not willing to assist or even transfer my call to a more knowledgeable person. The complex itself is not up to standard. They tell you there's one covered parking for your car, however there is no cover on the carports, all the covers are ripped and some have none at all. They need to improve on their service and building maintainance.
