I bought a new car from Swellendam Suzuki, assisted by Christo and Magda. Had shopped around (Worcester, Robertson), and they offered the best deal of the lot. In addition, I requested no extras from the very beginning and this was heard and respected, whereas the other dealerships I dealt with pushed extras and upgrades heavily (lucrative for them, but I am the customer). Christo is assisting with a registration error. The above was written on 13.2.26. Update 26.2.26 - I'm no longer rating 4 stars though - instead I'm downgrading to 1 star due to still not having received my registration documents. Two weeks and I've had to nag and remind constantly, and still I'm not in possession of the correct documentation. Nor did I receive copies of documents I signed on 13.2.26.
I'm utterly flabbergasted at the efficiency of this company, particularly the astounding Celia Clark. When I decided to sell my house in the Southern Peninsula, I initially considered another agent, but Eazi's extremely fast and thorough communication had me sold almost off the bat. With the team of Christelle and Celia combined, they're exceptionally hard to beat - the business model works like a well-oiled machine (Celia on the road and often at the residence, with Christelle, often simultaneously answering questions, via email). And their fees are so much more reasonable - a distinct win-win! (The other agent I had considered charged a whole lot more for a whole lot less - I don't appreciate waiting more than 36 hours for an email reply). Celia walked me through the sale process from beginning to end, often explaining complex matters via text, as I'm hard of hearing. Such care is deeply appreciated, as well the consistency, constant and continued support: From dealing with my tenant on numerous occasions to liaising gently and tactfully with the buyers and myself regarding an issue that cropped up (as they do). She has remarkable communication skills, is extremely relatable and likeable, and capable to a T. Willing to go extra millions of miles, with a smile. That's Celia. And my house sold in about 10 days. Use Eazi. You'll not be sorry.
Eazi Real Estate was so Eazi! I'm utterly flabbergasted at the efficiency of this company, particularly the astounding Celia Clark. Decorfurn has no after sales care, and blatantly ignore my requests for assistance with a recliner that no longer reclines. This armchair was purchased 9 months ago, and after a very initial reply, are now ignoring the issue. Be warned, there is no recourse if things go wrong..
Herotel ignores my email pleas (I'm hard of hearing) for assistance with the broken service I pay for. My wifi goes down and/or gives intermittent speeds of 0.1 mbps. Laughable, but infinitely frustrating dealing with a company that takes one's money, but doesn't care if one gets the service. I have communicated the issue 19 times and they don't bother to even answer. Stay away!
<div>Stealthy and lacking integrity - Capitec's latest move and (unacceptable lack of) communication regarding lowering their interest rates. Sies. So what if there are offerings now such as a 32 day account, with fair interest. Fact of the matter is interest previously was 3.5 percent for the savings (main) account and they have REDUCED it, without saying as much. Sies. At least be honest, Capitec. So sneaky, pulling the wool over our eyes. Foei.</div>
I had a very unpleasant experience with this company, Riebeek Kasteel branch, as they retained a large portion of my rental deposit due to flood damage. I believe this was unfair, and I felt pressured and manipulated.
I've rented a car from Bluu three times in the last few months - what terrific service! Especially from the super efficient and helpful Customer Care and Reservations departments. I refuse to get a credit card (I only spend the money I have), and so only have a Capitec debit card - Bluu is one of the very few rental companies that are debit card friendly. Each time, there's been no problem getting the holding fee back - I'll certainly use this company again. Five out of five stars, Bluu!
I reviewed Dial Direct last week, and their response was that they'd get hold of me to discuss. Haha, sure. Idle promises if ever. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They pay to get their positive reviews placed at the top of the page, and I wonder how many are actual honest genuine reviews from real users.
After Dial Direct insurance put my building premium up too much (their maths doesn't compute - increasing the value of something by 7% doesn't warrant a 25% increase), I wrote to them to discuss. I sent emails. Dozens and dozens of emails to 5 valid and different addresses at the company (I have all the auto replies). Over a period of three weeks, I re-wrote and re-sent various communications. Never did they reply. I'm hard of hearing, so phoning is very tricky. Besides the fact that where I live rurally, there's no reception/communication. And their app doesn't work. Eventually I managed to get someone to help me phone them to cancel my cover, as their service is simply k-k. Especially for those of us who are differently abled/mildly handicapped. ****-ty service if ever. Rather use Naked. They at least reply to emails.
