i ordered a Superhero cake for my son at Tessa's bakery in May 2021 and WOW, from the staff to the gorgeous user friendly website to accommodating my requests, i am just blown away with it all. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the actual cake was amazing, not only did it look good, it tasted even better!! Well done Tessa's bakery! i will definitely be ordering some cake again!
When we arrived at Happy Rhino hotel we parked under ground as there was no parking in the front of the hotel, however when making the booking it stated 'private parking available'. we then walked up to the reception area where the entire area was filled with people, no social distancing in place and some of the guests didn't even have masks on! As we were waiting to be seen to, a gentleman walked in and asked about the parking and was told he has to pay a R150 parking fee, i then went on and told the receptionist that we had parked underground as well and we were then told to pay the ridiculous parking fee of R150! I was then asked for proof of ID, and i handed over my drivers license, at this point i just couldn't wait to get to the room due to the amount of people crowding in the reception area, i hadn't noticed at the time (actually until Monday morning) that my drivers license hadn't been given back to me, so since Saturday night, no one had the decency to call me to let me know i had forgotten my drivers license even though they had ALL of my details!!! After asking for proof of ID, we were given towels in a clear bag and the keys to the room. we then went up and GOSH!! The entire passage where the rooms are located had a very bad sewerage smell! the noise was unbearable, Other guests had loud music playing and one of the doors in the passage had an alarm beeping very loudly which didn't stop! When we got to the room, my heart immediately dropped, the room was small, cold, uncomfortable and definitely nothing like what we saw on the website! the throw that was on the bed was bleached out and looked disgusting, there was hardly space to move around in the small, cold room! We immediately decided to leave as this is not what we wanted. We walked down to the receptionist and asked what the cancelation policy was and we were told no refund will be given, not even the money for the parking which we utilized for all of 15 Minutes!! Myself and my husband just wanted a peaceful, relaxing night away and it turned out to the worst night! I would definitely appreciate feedback from the hotel as i had an absolute awful experience!
on the 10th June i placed an online order for a pair of sneakers for my dad for Fathers' day. Today i realized that i haven't received any notification that my order was on it's way, when checking up on the order online, the status was changed to 'cancelled' without anyone notifying me of this! I contacted the Sportscene customer care line where a gentleman explained to me that they currently have a new system and there seems to be a glitch with the email system hence me not getting an email stating my order has been cancelled. So my next question to him was, 'what do i do now as i ordered this shoe for Father's day which is on SUNDAY!!!! he then advised that i need to go online and find something that is available in store as this will guarantee that i will get what i am looking for, however i wont get it on time even if i order an overnight. I am so utterly disgusted and disappointed in this service. The least i expected was that i am told that i can place a new order and that i'd get it in time for Father's day, but no instead i got a 'sorry its a new system', This should not be your customers problem!!!
in January 2018 I signed up for a R300 contract with Vodacom, which comes from my bank account monthly. Going through my statements I realized that Vodacom has increased my contract by R47.25 the first 6 months, then they started billing me R49 more 6 months after that and now my contract stands at 57.24 more than what I signed up for. To my knowledge is this even allowed or acceptable? I have had mobile contracts with other providers before and never EVER have I paid more than what I signed up for.. When contacting Vodacom, a consultant called me and sent me my first statement received from Vodacom, she then advised that she would handle the matter over to the billing department where all I received was an automated email stating their price increases. I get that prices are increasing but if you sign up for a contract of R300 that’s what you expect to pay for the entire period, correct ?????????? I am utterly disgusted with this matter and I feel like other customers need to be aware of this, as we all have budgets and don’t want any surprises later down the line. VODACOM , YOU HAVE DISAPPOINTED ME AND I WILL NEVER USE OR ADVISE ANYONE TO MAKE USE OF YOUR SERVICES EVER!!!!!
