I would like to raise my concern regarding an unpleasant experience at your store. My husband surprised me with a beautiful set of earrings and a matching chain. It was such a thoughtful and special gift, and I was truly touched. Unfortunately, when I opened the earrings, I saw that they were big in size and not really my style. We therefore decided to return them. When we arrived at the store, the sales assistant informed us that if I did not find anything else I liked, we could receive a voucher. Based on this information, we agreed to take a voucher. However, we were then told at the till that we could not receive a voucher because the purchase was made using a debit card. At no point during the original purchase was my husband informed that the earrings could not be returned or that vouchers would not be issued for card payments. This lack of communication placed us in a very uncomfortable position. To make matters worse, we also noticed a factory fault on one of the earrings. Only after this was identified did the staff offer to assist us. It is the responsibility of the sales consultant to clearly inform customers about return policies and any restrictions at the time of purchase. Proper communication would have prevented this frustration. I trust that management will address this matter and ensure that customers are properly informed going forward.
We purchased a bed from Truewood Furniture which was delivered and assembled on Monday, 6 October. When inspecting the bed, I noticed that the top part of the frame was loose. I contacted the delivery person, who told me that it was “supposed to be like that.” The following weekend, we visited the store to collect our free polish. My husband looked at the bed on display and saw that it was not the same as the one delivered to us. He explained the issue of the loose top section and the creaking noises the bed makes with every movement. The salesperson logged the complaint with the factory, and I received a follow-up call the next Monday. During the call, I explained clearly that someone is only available at home on Mondays and Thursdays, apart from weekends. I was told that I would be contacted with an update — however, two weeks passed with no communication. I called again last Saturday and was assured that I would be contacted today, but once again, no one has gotten back to me. At this point, the bed still remains unstable and noisy, and the lack of follow-up has been extremely disappointing. We paid for a quality product and expect the item to be delivered and assembled correctly, as well as concerns to be handled professionally. I am requesting that this matter be attended to urgently. Please confirm a suitable date and time (preferably Monday or Thursday) for a technician to inspect and repair or replace the bed.
We went to shop at pick n pay today as my son was so excited to start collecting the Springbok Rugby cards. We got 16 packs in total and sadly all 16 packs has exactly the same cards. What nonsense is this?

I have a savings plan with Old Mutual, and recently, during one of the most difficult moments of my life, they truly came through for me. My mom had gone to visit her sister in Knysna and sadly passed away there. In the midst of the shock and grief, I urgently needed funds to manage the situation. The speed, efficiency, and reliability were such a relief in a time of deep emotional stress. This experience reminded me of the importance of having savings and working with a trustworthy institution. I am forever grateful to Old Mutual for making this process quick and simple when I needed it most. I would encourage everyone to consider having a savings plan—because in times of need, it can make all the difference.
I ordered books online yesterday and today my full order arrived. It was hassle-free, simple and quick. I'm very impressed with the fast and efficient service!
I am thoroughly disappointed with the service I received from Look books. On Saturday, 7th December, I ordered books from their website, which clearly stated a 4 to 5-day delivery time. However, after processing my payment, the delivery date was updated to somewhere around the 20th of December. To my surprise, after completing the payment, the expected delivery date changed again to the 31st of December. When I called their customer service to inquire, I was told there was nothing they could do unless I changed the delivery address. They suggested putting my order on hold until I return from my holiday, as no one would be available at the delivery address on the 31st. However, given my past experience with them, where I had to wait over 20 days for my books last year, I have lost all trust in their service. This will be my last purchase from them. I will now be looking for a more reliable bookshop. This experience has left me frustrated and disappointed, and I do not recommend them to anyone who values timely deliveries.

My family and I, visiting from jhb, went to this restaurant yesterday. We placed our order for both food and drinks at the same time. Our drinks arrived, my sons food arrived. My husband and I waited for 45mins and our food never arrived 😒 we asked the waiter what's happening he referred us to another waiter who told us that the 1st waiter never placed our order. My son in the meantime had finished his food. We paid and left. Who waits and hour for their meal, pathetic 😒
