If there was a zero star, Order 3 piece kitchen set online. It was delivered in pieces that I needed to assemble myself, When I called to complain I was told to pay an extra R300 for them to send a guy from the nearest branch. Earlier before the delivery I asked if can I fetch my furnisher from the nearest branch and I was told they dont work with them anymore. I feel ****med by Multi Furniture
Bargains East London Beacon bay! five stars for them. My complements is mostly for their staff, very informative & helpful. Recent incident I had a problem with my washing machine. I called them worried that I don't even know what I did with my receipt but I was told they had my information in their system so they wont need the receipt. While I was waiting for the machine to get a new part they still kept checking up on me. The machine was replaced with a new one. no hustles nothing!
I joined Discovery February 2016 and I never had a problem. Ever since Discovery changed to Phakama Administration Services, I have also had a problem. At first my policy was cancelled saying I missed a payment, yet I didn't and they reinstated and I was told that my policy anniversary was in September no long in February, I assumed since it was reinstated. September comes still it emails back and forth ended up getting the cash back in October. 2024 same story of the back and forth email and only now they say my anniversary is in February, yet in February 2024 I wasn't paid the cash back.

My husband had contract with vodacom which expired March 2024, He went to the vodacom shop here in East London to enquire about his number, he still wanted to keep his number as pre paid. The consultant at Vincent advised my husband to call the customer care to cancel his contract. He called to cancel and was offered data which he refused. In our surprise the debit order went through again after he cancelled.
I have been with Discovery life for more than 6 years with no hassle, Last year I received an email saying my cover was terminated and when I called no knew anything and indeed it was terminated due to 1 month premium which I immediately paid. In February I was suppose to receive cash back as in every other years but it was me and them back and forth with email and ended up being told that since my policy was reinstated in September that means I will receive it end of September. I sent an email and only received an auto reply with a reference no 1122157. No one has bothered to contact me. The sad part of being a member with Discovery, I can leave my father is old now. Meaning I am stuck with expensive premium and poor service. This worries me if its a battle to just get my cash back how will it be when I need to make a claim?
I usually receive cash back every year in February, but Discovery has changed a lot and there's not customer service. Its April now and I haven't received my cash back and I have been sending emails and it has been a NO WIN situation. I think after all these years we've exhausted each others relationship. It sad how you guys treat your customers of many years.
I have been with Discovery Funeral for more than 10 years, hence I cannot leave them even with the bad service I am receiving. Last year I received an email that my policy was cancelled with no reason, after losts of emails it was reinstated, I never knew " being reinstated" I am almost a new member. Because when I called them regarding my cash back which I was supposed to receive in February, I was then told my anniversary with them is in September. I am now sitting in my car crying, I am supposed to replace my daughter's hockey kit. Now I am that mom who is full of stories.
They have the best service ever! I have been with Discovery insure for 11 months now.
