I have been a loyal Makro customer for years, over the past months bought thousands work of product, including my monthly groceries, all my appliances and most of my household good. But, my recent experience with Makro Online has left me frustrated, disappointed, and questioning whether they value their customers at all. Order 1 – OD435097276858044100 On 3 August, I placed a large order, including an Antec HOME PRO GAMER AMD RYZEN 5 5500 CPU, which was listed as in stock and on special. While some items arrived, others showed no progress on the tracking system. I emailed customer service and received a call from an agent who simply repeated my email back to me, telling me they were “still within the SLA.” No one investigated further or checked if there was a stock issue. a few days after the order (in fact on the same day of my complaint - I find that quite the coincidence) , I received an email saying the item was out of stock and a refund was being processed — meaning I lost the special price and wasted days waiting for nothing. Order 2 – OD435135645352048100 Due to the poor handling of my first order, I raised a formal complaint on 7 August. Makro sent an automated acknowledgement (Ref: 18JLO) but no timely follow-up. Days later, I received a generic apology and was told they were “asking the seller” about my new order. I rep**** asking for updates, but responses are slow or non-existent. My new order, worth R17,000+, is now “in transit” but I have no reassurance it will be delivered without further issues. My Concerns: No proactive communication from Makro. Slow, generic, copy-paste responses that don’t address the actual problem. No sense of urgency or customer appreciation, especially given the high value of my orders. Lost out on a special deal due to poor stock management and lack of transparency. I expect: A full investigation into both orders. Assurance from senior management that my current order will be fulfilled without delay. Clear communication and accountability going forward. Right now, I have no confidence in Makro’s online ordering process or customer service. This needs urgent attention from Massmart Head Office. I have emailed Massmart Head Office and have not even received a reply from them. What a joke this company is becoming.
I was with debt recue for a few years, whilst I must warn you, what people do not see and in the fine print is something you need to know, if you are placing debts in debt rescue's hands, remember, it is like you start again with your loans, only they are split over 5 years, so if you 3 years into your car, you end up having to do another 5 years and pay more for that car in the end, in any event, this is not my complaint. My complaint is that I have been off their records for a few months now, in fact since December last year, all my debts are paid off, yet I still get monthly reminders, hell I even got an attorney collection letter from them. My debts have been paid, accounts settled, I have relocated to Canada and these guys don't get it right, I have sent them numerous messages, yet still they are totally useless when it comes to administration, and let me ask this, why trust them with something so sensitive and serious if they cannot even get this right.
My experience with Mark Anthony Electrical & Signage has been nothing short of a nightmare. I hired them for an electrical certification on my house, and it has been a cascade of incompetence from the very start. Firstly, they charged an exorbitant amount for their services, promising professionalism and expertise. However, what followed was an unmitigated disaster. Despite having paid the deposit upfront, their so-called "certification" turned into a calamity. They spent an entire day attempting to rectify a problem that they themselves created during the day fixing things on the flatlette. Not only did they fail to fix their mistake, but they also left without resolving the issue they caused. The consequence? Constant tripping in the flatlet, leading to substantial inconvenience and financial loss for my tenant, who lost all the food in her fridge due to their negligence. Adding insult to injury, we had to shell out extra money for appointments that we were forced to cancel because of their sheer incompetence. Their lack of accountability and disregard for the consequences of their actions is utterly appalling. I am utterly disappointed and deeply regret hiring Mark Anthony Electrical & Signage. Their unprofessional conduct has caused significant inconvenience, financial loss, and distress. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to steer clear unless they enjoy substandard work, empty promises, and the aftermath of their negligent behavior. Avoid Mark Anthony Electrical & Signage at all costs – their ineptitude is a liability you cannot afford.
So far so good. I have switched from MiWay due to some challenges that I have had with them as well as the fact that my new amazing medical aid Bonitas is now partnered with Santam. Amazing service, amazing price, amazing product portfolio. I want to compliment the team at Customer Care as well as the sales team, you are simply stellar and this is the reason why Santam is so great!!!! Look forward now to staying insured with Santam and Bonitas on Medical , not having to change ever again.

Illovo Central has just an amazing Cafe on the 8th floor. I went there for Mandela Day specials, had their Chicken Prego Roll and let me tell you a better chicken burger I have not had in the 50 years I have been alive. It was amazing and the service was also out of this world. Well done guys at Central Cafe in Illovo Central.
I have traveled many times internationally, I usually do my visa personally and would not need to go through a company, sadly this time on recommendation from a family member I went through Visas & Passports Unlimited. I wish I had something good to say about them, I do not. I wish i could tell you that they keep you updated, they do not. I wish I could say that their email correspondence, especially from the Chief Executive is anything but helpful and not sarcastic at all, I could not. From Day 1 it is not easy working with them, it is far easier to do these things on your own. "Regrettably" as they put things, I will not be using them again. And .... as they put it "no guarantees as I have explained" that I would ever recommend them. It is sad when in this country people do not consider "service" as a valuable asset in their business. I personally feel that "service" is the last thing on their mind. I am saddened as I know that my VISA has not as yet been delivered, and risk this post being detrimental to the timing of that delivery. But I am so peed off that I no longer care. Abismal service.
It takes far too long for things to be shipped. I ordered a keyboard and mouse as well as desk fan, the delivery date even with a R65 additional fee is almost two weeks from now. I could have gone to the shops and just bought it over the weekend. What a lousy business.
Drive through it McDonalds Isando is not longer a drive through... It is a drive and park... Always.. I can never go and just get the food at the drive through window.. They chase you too the parking so that they do not get penalised on the time you spend under the window.. Not going back there.. Even if the food were free.
Horrid setvice and even worse horrid food. Took my family there for an evening out. We get nachos and some other stuff. R1100 bill for 3 adults and let me tell you. The kids base pizza was far better than our mail meal. Tasteless nachos .. With maybe 1/4 of a chicken breast as meat. It was tasteless and really small portion... So dissapo8nted in Fahrenheit Edenvale Terrace Road.. I would rather eat slugs. Brian was out waiter .. It sounded like he was in a bad mood... Was not going to tip at all but I know how little they earn... You cannot pay me too eat at this place.. Even if the food were free in will never return.. This place has become my worse restaurant ever visisted.. I am 50 inhave visited many. Close your doors Fahrenheit.. You are no more.
