Pool Bullets are a waste of money. We were sold these at Checkers. Supposedly up to 7000l pools which is our size. I set up the pool, filled it up, therw a pool bullet in. After two days the pool was already turning green. I left the pump in continuously, after 7 days the pool was terrible. I added a second pool bullet and the water has turned completely green, full of algae. It now ****s to be drained and refilled. Don’t waste your money, stick to the originals.
Hi Fi Corp Ballito. Good day to you. I would like to write a review on the absolute awsome experience I had with your staff at Ballito Junction. Honestly outstanding! It has been many many years since I delt with a sales team and management that are as exceptional as what I experienced. Sunisha Harilall, Sherwin Thulsi and Peaceful Mbege deserve an accolade. Their product knowledge, company procedures, external processes ie Telkom/ Vodacom etc was astounding. Every question I asked they had an accurate answer to without having to refer to another person etc… They all went above and beyond my expectations, understanding my needs and providing useful advice. Sharing frustrations with system errors yet still proving an abundance of feedback. I was never left wondering. Good job and high fives all around. Very very appreciated customer.
I would like to express my utter disappointment with the service provided by the store manager at Incredible Connection in Ballito Junction. On 22 August, I app**** for a Telkom package deal, under the assurance that it would be processed within 2-3 working days. Over a month later, I am still waiting, with zero communication or follow-up from the manager . Every step of the way, I have had to initiate contact, as the manager has provided conflicting responses, and more often than not, has met my concerns with complete silence. Her lack of professionalism is astounding—she doesn’t make eye contact, provides no updates, and seems utterly unconcerned about the poor service her store is providing. Despite pointing out these inconsistencies, I have been met with no action, no explanations, and no sense of responsibility from her end. It’s clear she has no interest in assisting customers, as she simply waits around doing nothing while problems escalate. The level of customer service I have experienced is, without question, the worst I have ever encountered. In fact, I had to seek help from Hifi Corp staff to handle a situation that is entirely her responsibility, which is both embarrassing and unacceptable. The manager has proven herself to be ***********, unresponsive, and an obstacle to resolving a simple application that should have been processed weeks ago. I strongly advise anyone considering this store to avoid it if they expect timely, professional service. This store manager is clearly not fit for the role and has caused an incredible amount of frustration and inconvenience.
It’s not worth the time and certainly not with the money. The bulk of the items I purchased actually belong on the dump, “floating shelves” were just flat planks. Umbrella. A rusted pole with fabric in tatters can’t do anything with it. Glass table- had no glass, just a dented aluminum frame. They make the point of saying view first but what’s the point of “online only” if you need to go there anyway, especially living long distance one expects some kind of quality Controll, not a s**** yard taking a chance.

A short description of the disgusting behavior of Nedbank regarding my finances due to covid salary cuts. As a Nedbank Private Client for the past 15 years, a so called “high value client” We were treated with absolutely contempt from this pathetic bank. I have has severe salary cuts due to covid, I have engaged with Nedbank every step of the way providing them with a range of solutions to our financial predicament. Besides a 3 month payment holiday given at the outset of covid, Nedbank has not lifted a finger to provide assistance/ advice on how to manage things better. And have simply thrown us under the bus. Nedbank has been completely unsympathetic and has enthusiastically handed us over at every single opportunity. They have been a hinderance in trying to help a person back on their feet and been sociopathic in their dealings with me. As a result of Nedbank’s lack of understanding or support my credit score has fallen to a much lower score than what it should be had I been with another bank. Under absolutely no circumstances would I ever recommend/ refer this bank to anyone. There is no “relationship” just a scavenger bank quick to take your fees/ and charge interest but provide nothing at all - despite being a 15 year “high value client” Work colleagues under similar conditions have had stellar support from ABSA and FNB.
My wife and I are in the market for a number of appliances for our new house, amongst which was a gas hob. After receiving the advert for 25% value back voucher from 26-28 July, we thought it a good opportunity to make some of these purchases. After much back and forth between ourselves, we settled on the purchase of a gas hob, chest freezer, toaster and a few other smallish items. We were going for a Smeg hob to match our oven. Upon speaking to the sales person in store, we were advised that the unit we were looking at had in fact been discontinued and the new one costs approximately R2000 more than the item we were interested in. We could however take the demo unit of the unit we were interested in. Given that the new one costs considerably more, is not in fact available in stock nor even a unit on display, somewhat forced the decision upon us to accept the demo unit. We were then advised that the 25% value back voucher is not applicable to that particular purchase. When asked why, the reply was “because it is old stock”. I ask with tears in my eyes what does old stock have to do with it? The item was not on special, nor was it marked down! It is in fact an old model, furthermore a demo unit! yet the 25% voucher does not apply, “confused” is an understatement! We were trying to make a legitimate purchase of an item that is on display in store, not on special, not marked down, not labeled in any way shape or form as being discontinued, when the promotion suddenly becomes null and void because it is “old stock”? Absolutely pathetic excuse. Why have old models on display, with price tags, when in fact the unit is actually not available for purchase, furthermore the new model is nowhere to be seen and one merely has to go on imagination. Honestly you are just wasting everybody’s time. Today you not only lost out on the sale of a gas hob, freezer and toaster, but Double door fridge, Washing machine, Tv to name a few items. Very short sighted.
