My first time purchasing from Absolute Pets online store. The purchase was easy online and no issues. Come to delivery, you receive no notification of if you parcel has been collected from the courier or who the courier is, like other online companies, so I had to e-mail them. My order was placed on the 2nd Aug 10:39, I emailed them on the 6th Aug as no notification of delivery was received. Lynne responded that it would be delivered on the 6th or 7th to which I asked her for a tracking number so I can follow up. My e-mail was ignored. I then found online, on the order, next to the actual product a link to the courier which I went into and it said the parcel was returned but gave driver details. I sent the driver a message to which she phoned and said she had already delivered the parcel on the 6th. However the people receiving the parcel on my behalf said they hadn't received it. They phoned the driver and she said no she hadn't delivered and would deliver the next week, the driver then blocked my number. I kept Absolute Pets up to date and asked them to please follow up and get my order to me or refund if they couldn't provide me with my order. All e-mails to Lynne and Absolute Pets went ignored, they never got back to me or apologised or updated me. The parcel was eventually delivered on the 12th Aug & it was from PTA to JHB. Definitely will be my first and last order. Other online pet stores have outstanding customer service, Absolute Pets is way behind.
I booked flights to Madagascar via the Airlink website and was offered the option of travel insurance. This is Allianz, through Next Care Health. I sent them an e-mail just to confirm that we are fully covered in Madagascar which they never responded to. I asked Airlink if they have the correct contact and the e-mail address they gave me came back. I advised Airlink and they were very unhelpful and this was the response I received "kindly note that the email address that I have provided you with is the only one that we have, the use of the Airlink website to reserve any third-party services is at the passenger’s discretion. The third-party services made available on Airlink’s website is managed by the insurance companies." Since then I managed to find a WhatsApp number and they confirmed we are not covered in Madagascar! Why then is Airlink giving this option if it does not cover you?? I asked them to then cancel the policy and they say they can only do this via e-mail but they keep denying they are receiving my e-mails even though I just respond to theirs. Now they say there must be something wrong with my e-mail, which there isn't, and hence they cannot refund me. Lovely tactic to avoid refunding clients, just deny receiving your e-mail so we can't help you. I have once again advised Airlink of what type of company they are dealing with but don't expect that they will do anything about it. Very disappointed in Airlink.
I purchased travel insurance with Next Care Health through my Airlink booking online. My trip was for Madagascar and I did a follow up e-mail with them to ensure we were covered for medical and insurance in Madagascar. E-mails went continuously unanswered until I finally found a WhatsApp number for them and got hold of an agent. The lady advised me that this policy does not in fact cover me for Madagascar! Not sure why Airlink is adding this as an option to flight to Madagascar when you are not covered in Madagascar. I told her then I will need to cancel the policy and she advised she will resend the policy to me and all I have to respond to the e-mail that I want it cancelled and will be refunded in 15 days. Well, no refund received and now they claim they aren't receiving my e-mails and there must be something wrong with my email. Told them everyone I am e-mailing is receiving my e-mails and responding without a problem. Asked her to confirm on WhatsApp that she has received my cancellaton request and she refused. Said they will only confirm on e-mail and my e-mails are being received. I asked her if this is their ploy to not refund clients, just claim we haven't got your e-mail so they don't have to refund. Just got told they can't confirm on WhatsApp and that was that. I have since sent the e-mail from my hotmail account but apparently they are not receiving that either luckily for them. I have notified Airlink of the partner they are usings treatment of their customers but they don't seem to care either. Don't ever buy insurance via Airlinks website!!
