My vehicle was sent to this service provider by a third-party insurer for an assessment. Reception rude (no customer service). I receive the quote from the assessor and the insurer approves the repair. This was a week ago. Today I call them to book the vehicle for repairs and send them the quote, done at their premises. I receive an email back saying that the cost will be R3000 more than the quote and I will have to cover this out of my own pocket even after the insurance settlement, but I will receive discount if I pay them in hard cash!!! Who carries R22 000 cash! I send this to the insurer immediately and they start the entire process from scratch again. I just wasted two weeks trying to get my vehicle repaired. If this is how they conduct business even before repairing your vehicle, I don't even want to know what your vehicle will look like after they worked on it.
My wife was involved in a minor accident on the 16th of July 2023. I lodged a claim with Momentum as her right rear tyre was skew. The first thing that the advisor at Momentum asks me when lodging a claim is to rate his service, my wife was just in an accident 10 minutes before! The vehicle was towed, and I did not receive a single call or update until this morning of the 26th of July 2023. The repair work was approved. The issue was that now the quote was for over R12 000 for bodywork and spray work, nothing related to the tyre. I then went to the panel beater (Zambesi ARC) who now told me that I mustn't take food out of their mouth as they have to quote something to be repaired. I requested to view my vehicle, when they then came driving around with my car with the damaged tyre. The damage they claimed on the body was a scuff mark which I removed with my nail. Why was it then towed if they are driving the vehicle!!! There was NO DAMAGE to the areas that they wanted to spray and repair. I then called Momentum to lodge a complaint and bring this under their attention. The team manager was rude to me at first and asked me what do I want them to do? I must then take my car and go assess it myself. After a long discussion and them finding out that I am also actually a claims assessor by profession they agreed to re asses the vehicle and provide me with feedback again. This is an inflation of the claim, and downright *****. They are now saying that the damages might only be wheel alignment which would have cost me R350. How can you trust an insurer who inflates claims and then expect you to pay the excess of R5000. They also told me that the assessor got to his estimate from photos of the vehicle and did not even look at the vehicle itself, and they never even assessed the actual damage which was the right rear tyre. The advisor at Momentum is Oratile, the assessor at Zambesi ARC is Thabiso. Be very very careful doing business with Momentum Insure and Zambesi ARC. You will pay for things unrelated to your actual problem. I am truly disappointed to find myself in this position after claiming from a huge insurer. I now have a claim on my name, my vehicle is still standing at Zambesi ARC after a week and now everything must be re-done from scratch! Had to collect my vehicle from them today, nothing done. Wheel still skew, told that I can drive the car and go fix it myself.

Dealt with Kgosi, very friendly and helpful. Will recommend them
I recently bought a brand new Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up from the dealership. I drove the vehicle home with the odometer at 5km when I noticed a t*******/knocking sound from the rear suspension/shocks. The front tyres were also s****ing against the front mudguards when turning. I called and complained about this. I had to take the vehicle back and they kept my bakkie almost 4 days. When I arrived they had removed the entire front mudguard and threw it in the back of my bakkie, telling me that this was the solution to the s****ing, leaving the entire front end looking like the mudguard was ripped off. They also fit a bonnet guard to my bakkie, which looks like it was done by a 5 year old, the bonnet was scratched and the guard is skew. My bonnet also now vibrates when driving/idling. They informed me that they cannot locate the problem on the suspension/shocks that make the noise but agreed that there is a noise when hitting uneven road and humps. I was told to drive like this as there was no problem. I tried complaining about this, sending multiple emails to the salesman and the manager at Mahindra Eagle corner. I don't hear anything from them. My bakkie has 3000km on the clock, parts have been removed and stripped, the knocking sound is still on the bakkie and I am told, "live with it". Think twice before visiting this dealership. I have heard from several people on Mahindra Forums that they had a similar problem, where their dealerships replaced the rear shocks and leaf springs without questions as the bakkies were also new and the issue was resolved. It is clear that the technicians at this dealership don't even know their own product. Zweli and Irvin make big promises prior to the signing of the contract. Now I have to drive up and down to a dealership 80km away from my residence with a brand new bakkie that has no "problems" according to them. I also visited a private suspension dealer, who I informed of my problem. They immediately knew what the problem was after driving with me but obviously could not work on the bakkie as it was under warranty. (which doesn't mean much I see) They too told me to replace the rear shocks and leaf springs.
Lieben and his team did excellent work at my home. Roof needed some repairs and in the process Lieben quoted me to paint the entire roof as well. I liked the personal service and the work done was of good quality. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!
Sorry to tell you this but you're stuck with that rubbish. I bought a brand new pick up double cab last year and it is nkw in the garage for the 13th time. New shocks, gearbox seals, wheel alignment x 5, loose control arms, shaking engine.... The list goes on. The excuse now is that there is water in the diesel... I have complained everywhere, Mahindra SA can't be bothered, the moment you buy it its yours for eternity. I tried to trade it in, rhe offer was R200 000 and I paid R315 000 less than a year ago. Don't ever in your life buy this brand, you will regret it!
It is with disgust that I write to you. I bought a new Mahindra Scorpio S6 Pik Up Karoo double cab from Mahindra Montana at the beginning of June 2019. I waited for the bakkie until the end of June 2019 wherby I was given excuse upon excuse of why the bakkie is not coming. After finally getting the bakkie, the problems started. When I took delivery of the bakkie it pulled severely to the left, had to go back the next day for alignment. The week after that and with mileage not even at 200km there is a scratching sound coming from the rear tyres. Took it back again and now the brake pads apparently had a piece sticking out and this made the sound. A few days after that, there was oil coming from where the propshaft exits the gearbox. Had to go back once again only to hear I don't need to worry as it is only assembly grease. Drove two weeks, oil again and the vehicle shakes when stationary at robots , not all the time. Sometimes. Also shudders when pulling off after having driven on a highway for a while and sounds coming from die rear of vehicle when this happens. Went back again to Montana, being told they can't see anything after just looking at it for 30min and sent me off saying again not to worry and they will order a seal for the propshaft that according to them was not leaking... Speedometer also jumping around when reaching 80 to 100 km/h. Montana told me they will receive the parts on Monday and book me in, it is now Wednesday and nothing. I reluctantly called another dealer to see if they can assist and made an appointment for Thursday 8 Aug 2019 at Menlyn as the vehicle still has all the above issues that Montana tells me that there is nothing wrong. After involving Mahindra SA Montana called again to replace the seal and speedo sensor. The bakkie was there for three days and the seal still leaks and the housing tube was damaged by them, full of tool marks and bent. The vehicle still makes the sound from the diff and shudders when pulling off when I drive more than 50km and they still tell me that there is no issue. This is the worst brand, stay far far away, and stay even further away from Montana Mahindra. They now told me I must drive with the sound and shudder until the first service when they do all the oil changes and see what happens. The bakkie is 1 month old and the issues are ongoing. Mahindra SA not coming back to me and they are silent regarding my request to reverse the transaction or give me a replacement bakkie. PATHETIC!!!!
