I rented a vehicle, which I returned on 30 June 2025. The rental company released the deposit on the same day and 2 weeks later I still haven't received it. Even after receiving an SMS confirming my available balance on my credit card on 11 July, still nothing a week later.
My colleagues and I recently opened a stokvel account. I recently made payments and with all the payments, I did not receive POP's even though I selected the method I preferred and entered the necessary details. I made a payment to someone and they claim that they did not receive the money. When I went to the bank the request POP or rather confirm the account number I paid, I couldn't be assisted as it seems there is no option for POP. So if someone was to ***** the money, then we wouldn't be able to trace which account the funds were transferred to. Meaning our money is unsafe.
I booked a vehicle for two different occasions. Because my deposit still hadn’t reflected from the first booking, I made a deposit towards my credit card, which took almost two day to reflect. I had to postpone my booking. The following day the funds reflected but it was R300 short. After calling Woodford from the morning with no answer, I went there myself hoping they’d allow me to pay the R300 using my debit card. If someone had told me over the phone, I’d understand, but the fact that I had to go there and get refused a vehicle that I fully paid for, because my credit card is short R300 which I could have paid using my debit card is ridiculous. The first I had the best service. Next time hiring with Woodford will be my last.
Woodford probably has the best service. The vehicles are cheap, and the staff is friendly. Thank you for the excellent customer service.
Vox has the worst service delivery and customer service EVER!!! Our telephone lines are currently down, yet they were advised by our IT providers to replace their router in October, till now they haven’t. Bear in mind that in October our lines were down for over a week, which means we lost potential new clients because we couldn't make or receive calls. Patrick said he would provide feedback in 20 minutes, and it has now been over 2 hours, and still nothing. As long you pay for their poor service delivery every month, they are happy. If it were up to me, I would find new service providers without thinking twice.
I have an account with Wonga. I settled that account on 23 September 2024. A few days later I went into my account, and I see that I am still owing. After I have settled my account.
As a loyal Shoprite customer, I’m concerned with the meat they sell us at KwaMnyandu in Umlazi. If you go to the butchery, you will notice that the meat they sell is old. I bought meat last week, and I put it in the freezer as soon as I got home. But when I cooked it, it had a stench. Even the liquid it produces is brown. This definitely goes against food quality rules. This should be reported to the relevant authorities.
There's a Spar close to where I work called Avonmore, and that's where we do our shopping. The staff there are amazingly friendly, and the store is always clean. I really enjoy doing my groceries there.
I tried on a pair of chinos at Musgrave and it fit me perfectly. So I asked for a different color but the same size and I didn't bother trying on the second pair. I was disappointed when I wore the pants and they were actually bigger. I don't understand how the pants were bigger than me when they are my size.
