I have experienced the worst service for the second from this provider. I called to request a pre authorization for my sick wife and I was informed she needed to first have a virtual consult with one of the nurses and they would call her shortly. 4 hours later she has received no call and not feeling any better, I call back to enquire and all of a sudden I am able to get an authorization number for her. When I asked for a reason for the inconsistency I was told the relevant people are in a meeting and if I am unhappy with the process I can feel free to escalate the matter. For an organization that deals with the health of people this is a disgusing approach. Its the second time I was promised a call from a nurse that never came.
My pregnant wife has been sent from pillar to post regarding her scheduled c-section in the third trimester of her pregnancy. How heartless do you have to be drag your feet with someone that could go into labour at any time, but she now has to continuously worry if she will even have cover if she goes to labour all because someone didn't do their job. Medshield has been aware of my wife's pregnancy from the time she was 3 months pregnant, but only now when she is 3 weeks from giving birth do they see it feet to have run up and down like a headless chicken.
I took up a Mortgage protection plan Fnb Life, completed and submitted all the relevant documentation as required but for some reason there was a glitch on their side and I had to submit the documents again. I complied and submitted the same documentation again. Then they sent a request for me to submit the same documentation a third time and this is when I became suspicious. I requested an explanation and got nothing for 4 months all the while still being harrased to submit the documents. Nobody ever knows anything, they promise to investigate but never give me feedback. I have been paying the premium for the Mortgage protection for more than 6 months now but I have no cover. Where is my money going? I get sent from pillar to post everytime I follow up. Late last year they managed to activate a policy under my name but it was not the policy I signed for and even the premium had changed, how do they do this? I have called Fnb life for the past 6 months each time having to explain myself every single time, but no assistance, it is with frustration that I resort to this because no one is willing to assist. If something was to happen to me the Mortgage protection which I have been debited for for the past 6 months will not cover me because I do not have an active policy. Why do I have to keep on submitting multiple documents for the same things and why does no one take responsibility for the mess. Fnb Life is a scam
Outsurance sells dreams, after failing to beat my car insurance quote they promised me a link to claim their so called R500 almost 2 Months later and I am still waiting. One of their consultants called because I had given the agent a really poor rating, but as soon as she realized why I never heard from her again even though she had promised to fix it.
So MTN found it fit to get my wife listed as a defaulting payer after they failed to process her cancellation and billed her for an extra month after she had served her 1 month cancellation notice. Not only did they try by all means to debit her account months later, but it has now also started affecting her credit score. After 8 years of loyalty to MTN and this is the slap in the face they saved as a parting shot. The consultants confirmed that it was their mistake as they were going through a system change at the time, but they still made it her problem. She has suffered all the bank charges of reversing the endless debits and now she might not even be able to qualify for credit, because of GREED.

I regret taking my car to this place... Took my car in for service and its been making a funny noise ever since... Took it back to get checked and I ended up waiting for close to 2 hours just for someone to look at my car. A guy finally looked at it and told me some story and said it was all sorted, but still this day my car makes a screeching loud noise when I start it. If you love your car RUN!!!
Best breakfast spot in town... I have never seen such fresh and mouth-watering food in a service station and the service is first class.
Edgars has been scamming my wife and billing her for a non existent cellphone contract for 7 months. When she discovered this she was told to take time off work and go to an Edgars branch during weekdays to be put in touch with the responsible department. After taking her time and going to a branch the person she was put in touch with was clueless and all they did was promise to transfer the matter to their audit department. The audit department called back saying they have a recording of her agreeing to this contract and they are not in a position to help her. They say they have been crediting her with Cell C airtime for the past 7 months when she has never in her life used the network. We have been very faithful with paying our account on time always and this is the thanks we get. If this is not resolved Edgars can blacklist my wife if they want, but we will never pay another cent towards that account, the money scammed from my wife should be enough.
