An absolutely useless online school. We app**** for enrolment a week ago. Nobody bothered to get in touch with us. We then called their call centre and requested to be called back. Nothing! Absolutely useless! Don't waste your time with these people. I will never pay thousands of Rand for course to people with such a business attitude.
I'm sorry to write a negative review about this bank. They are sitting on my funds now for 1 week. I transferred a substantial amount in Rand from my overseas bank account on 8 May. Despite 3 calls to client care and sending proof of payment no progress. I have sent an email to their complaints department. If there is still no progress I will escalate the matter to the National Financial Ombuds Scheme. I'm sure then they will wake up. Avoid this bank for any international transactions. They are useless in this respect.
Don't use this online store if you are based in South Africa. It took 4 weeks for my order to arrive here. They charged a lot of money for delivery and import charges. Now they inform me that my order can be collected at the post office if I pay another R 150. Absolutely useless. A *******. BEWARE!!!
I'm extremely grateful to Heidi Giesing of 3%.com Randburg who managed to find a tenant for my property in Robindale very quickly. Vetting process, preparation of lease contract and other documentation was done professionally and swiftly. She also supervised the repairs and cleaning of my property prior to renting out. I highly recommend her for any real estate matters in Randburg.
This complaint is against Capitec Bank/Treasury Department and their intermediary, Future Forex (Pty) Ltd., regarding the delayed release of funds following a foreign exchange transaction. On 07/01/2025 , I transferred an undisclosed forex amount from my overseas account to my Future Forex account which is held with Capitec Bank. The forex amount was converted to ZAR on 08/01/2025. Subsequently, I instructed Future Forex to transfer the ZAR amount to my current account with another local bank. However, Capitec/Treasury unexpectedly demanded extensive documentation to verify the origin of the funds. At no time was I informed that prior to any forex transaction extensive documentation as to the origin of my funds have to be submitted! I believe these demands are excessive and disproportionate. Despite submitting the initial set of documents, Capitec/Treasury deemed them insufficient, further delaying the release of my funds. Due to the urgency of this matter, I was forced to instruct Future Forex to repatriate the forex amount back to my overseas bank account. This delay has caused me emotional distress and significant financial loss in terms of transaction cost, and loss of potential interest.. I have subsequently canceled my business relation with Future Forex and Capitec and closed all accounts. I can only recommend other potential clients to avoid these 2 banking institutions. I also submitted a complaint with the National Financial Ombuds Scheme.
An absolutely useless insurance broker. Presented a premium increase of +19%, Motor +24%, without any comparative quotes from other insurers and explanations other than that's the best we could get for you. I shopped around and got plenty of quotes from other brokerages, one even lower than what I paid before. If you want to be taken to the (insurance) cleaners, MBFS is the right broker for you!
Since the take-over by Arihost the service level has gone down and the ISP prices up! They send you an email every month with a link to view your invoice and you end up clicking forever on their pathetic customer portal to find the invoice. Their internet speed is also pathetic especially in the evenings. I have had it with this bunch now.. I was their customer for 8 years but now its time to move on. Avoid anything that has to do with Afrihost. They are bad news!!
I order regularly from Takealot. However, since they don't accept credit cards from Nedbank and Instant EFT with Ozow and the other useless pay services don't work I simply don't buy from these guys anymore. Watch out - Amazon ante portas..............!!!!
My phone a Galaxy Z Fold 2 needed a new battery. Pick up by The Courier Guy was fast, actually too fast as they tried to do the pick up half an hour after placing the order. The wait for the replacement battery from Samsung was long, more than 10 days. All in all my phone was gone for almost 2 weeks. However, the repair was done alright. My phone functions perfectly again.
Absolutely shocking service of the cloud-based accounting program. I'm stuck for 2 days now, Can't send out invoices to customers, pages not loading, program stalling after every second click. This is going on now for the past 4 months or so. I give notice. I will not subscribe to this **** anymore. Will move back to a harddrive-based accounting package (but definitely not Pastel!!). DON'T USE SAGE ONE ACCOUNTING. You have been warned!
