Great service recieved by Reggie when registering bodyguard claim.
I got this message “*****, A R550 gift card is reserved for you. To claim reply "YES" + get a FREE car cover quote with KING PRICE. NO=OptOut. by B-M.deals. T&Cs FSP4386” and I decided sure lets see and got the call, finished my quote but unfortunately King Price could not beat my current insurance and was then greeted before I could enquire about my voucher. I have tweeted on their Twitter account a few days ago and still nothing. If this is the way they communicate I have some serious doubts that I will ever join them.
I would just like to thank the Casa Bella Grandwest team for the exceptional service recieved tonight (09/12/2022). We recieved a heart-felt warm welcome since we entered the restaurant and our waiter Taariq was absolutely amazing. He went out of his way to make the night special! Very impressive. I will definitely return soon.
Very fast and efficient service. Staff very friendly and informative.
So I bought two hoodies at zando under my mom's name as it was a gift from her to me. Upon arrival the one jacket fit perfect but the other one whic was a green utopia jacket was way too long and I logged a return. Please note I kept it in my locker at work as they were going to pick it up from my workplace. The driver postponed the date he was coming to pick it up TWICE! The third time he came and collected it, a few days later they call my mom to say the jacket smells like washing powder and can't be returned. As shocked as we were I sent them a message stating that if the jacket was washed then how come the labels are all still in place. So upon doing my own investigation I realized that there is an airfreshner in my locker that smells like lemon. I immediately took a photo and forwarded to them only to hear once again the product seems to have been "WASHED". Gee must be a damn good washing machine to leave all labels in tact and sparkless. So eventually they delivered the jacket back to me but the courier guy was super rude and intrusive, he walked right into my workplace shouting my name and then shoved the package into my hands and when I told him I don't want it he refused to listen and walked away immediately. Mind you I was busy with a patient. PLEASE SORT OUT YOUR MESS ZANDO!!!!!
Very upset with Telkom N1 City (next to Ackermans)! So in January 2021 while I was awaiting fibre from a different internet service provider I went to Telkom N1 City and spoke to William Robertson. I informed him that I want a month to month sim only deal with data as my fibre was to be installed within the next 3-4 months. He then informed me they currently have a deal for R199pm for 40gb day and 40gb night. When he showed me the deal in the booklet I saw that it said it was a 24 month contract, I then told him NO I DON'T WANT A CONTRACT, JUST A MONTH TO MONTH to which his exact reply was "don't worry sir although it says that it's a 24 month contract we put it through as month to month" to which I then agreed. She read some t's and c's from his screen and I proceeded to sign on the signature pad. He never once mentioned it being a 24 month subscription, before signing I asked him once more if this is a month to month to which he said YES. Anyway fibre was installed last week so I went ahead to phone Telkom to cancel only to be told by this kind lady that it indeed was a 24 month contract and it will cost me about R807 to cancel. I immediately told her I can't pay that amount of money. I would like Telkom to please explain why their employee William Robertson had me signing under false pretention! I would also like them to make sure that this "contract" gets canceled without further costs. As per the Consumer Protection Act 'In relation to the marketing of any goods or services, the supplier must not, by WORDS or conduct - directly or indirectly express or imply a false, misleading or deceptive representation concerning a material fact to a customer'. I could quote the whole CPA but that would be a waste of my time. Please fix this ASAP!!! The number in question is 0815429593. And you can contact me on 0826034194.
DO NOT GET VODACOM INSURANCE! On Sunday 03/01/2021 my phone was stolen from out my pocket and I immediately reported it missing. Monday 04/01/2021 I submitted the claim for Vodasure and it was immediately approved so I head to Vodacom Cape Gate where I am informed that because I had a Huawei Mate 20 PRO the best would be to replace this with a Huawei P40 PRO. Please note that my excess is a bit more than R4000 which I agree on as I use my cellphone for work purposes. After contemplating for a while I agree and the lady said they do not have stock. I then get a sim swap done and try and find a store with stock. So I call the Canal Walk branch after looking at other options and decide to look at the Samsung Note 20, Samsung S20fe and Huawei P40 Pro. They inform me telephonically that they had stock and I head to them asap. Upon arrival the friendly lady helps me, I choose my new Samsung Note 20 and she informs me the excess would be R6700 which I agree too as this is the best device available. After calling the insurance department the rude insurance lady called Barbara tells them I cannot take a device for more than my cover amount which is R15000 which is totally bizarre as I am willing to pay the difference and my policy CLEARLY states "We will not replace your cellphone with a more expensive model if your model is not available" and my device is clearly not available anymore. Anyway I ended up taking A Huawei P40 ( A huge downgrade from my Mate 20 pro) but I have no other Huawei choice. Upon returning home I try to load work related docs and apps but this app is not available on the new Huawei devices as it is incorporated with Google Play. I immediately switch the phone off and call insurance department who then informs I should return to the Voda store and escalate the matter. So this morning I go back and the same friendly consultant informs me they won't give me a different device but she then calls a colleague and they manage to get Play store on my device. I head to work and still I cannot access the applications due to security modules. So basically I am left with a downgraded device that I can't use due to the issue that arised. The phone is once again put in its box and left in my home safe. Please Vodacom I just need a google device, even if it is still a downgrade, just give me another device. After all I pay R230 every month for this insurance. I am awaiting a speedy reply due to me being in trouble as my colleagues cannot contact me!
Bought a glass screen protector for my phone but did not even stick to the screen, cracked upon first day of putting it on as it did not stick to the screen, took it back and the store said that it can't be replaced for a new one as it is cracked then after a few days saw that because it did not stick to the screen it moved and that allowed for dirt to go under the screen and as it moved it has scratched my screen, super disappointed.
