During the years I had a few hiccups with my prepaid as a direct Escom customer. Every time they assisted in a very friendly and efficient way resolving issues quickly and always following to make sure all is fine
I have a Defy oven and the glass on the door shattered. Tried to order a replacement from Defy Monteque Gardens. The lady at spares were extremely rude and told me if I dont have the product and part no they cannot assist. I took the matter up with the manager who got a lady Devere Thomas to assist and while she did a great job and eventually got the part it fell apart again. She send me all the details, I made a payment via EFT, send her the proof of payment and arranged with the couriers to collect. Next thing another lady Milnola Basson calls and says she will not give the part to the couriers as the payment must reflect on the bankstatement for 48 hours and she has not seen the proof of payment. I send to her but her email rejects and when I call her I hold on for 10 minutes then she states she cnt hear me and will call back which never happens!!! This is really pathetic service!!!
My wallet was stolen and I applied for card replacements from Standard Bank ABSA and FNB. The first 2 took 7 days to provide new cards FNB 21!! The I had to go to the branch to activate the card. After standing in a que for 40 minutes with no chairs and being 67 years old I was about to leave when they allowed me into the branch. After another 10 minutes Tersia a clerk came and asked me what I wanted to which I said I need to activate my card. She looked at me and said "I don;t like your mask (a face shield) so I can't help you. This despite ALL other places accepting the shield, even where the measure tempature which FNB does not do, That means I have to buy a new mask that Tersia may or may not like, stand in the que for yet another hour and perhaps then get served. PATHETIC!!!!
I wanted to buy a handheld blower and found it on the internet at a specific price. I then wanted to buy it from Turfmaster Bellville but was given a price of R400 more. This they tell me is courier cost from HO Nigel!!! Called Nigel and theyy said that it would R160 more than advertised due to courier cost. This was OK but courier takes 4-5 days to deliver. I then bought from Bellville and it came via courier BUT not what I had ordered. I ordered a blower/vacuum but what I got was only a blower. No use taking this up with HO as they simply don't respond!!
I ordered goods on line on 12/10 and was informed on 13/10 it has been handed to the couriers for delivery. Still not received and despite spending 79 minutes on my phone trying to find out what the problem is I still have no answers. Cannot speak to any "senior" person, they will call back which obviously never happens!!!
