It has been almost two weeks since I opened my ABSA account and I have still not received my bank card. I was told DSV would contact me, but they have not. My account is also unusable due to a digital hold, even though I have been told several times that it has been removed. After waiting up to 20 minutes to speak to a consultant, my calls are either dropped or I am placed on hold for an unreasonable amount of time. This is unacceptable customer service.
I’m really disappointed with MTN’s choice of courier. I ordered a SIM card, and the contract clearly states I can provide my ID, driver’s license, or passport to the courier for delivery. When the driver arrived, I presented my passport — a perfectly valid form of identification — and he refused to hand over my package. His excuse was that his scanner “doesn’t scan passports.” Because of this, I now have to cancel my order entirely. It’s beyond frustrating that a company the size of MTN partners with a courier that can’t even handle basic processes like accepting a valid passport. MTN, your courier choice let you down, and in turn, let your customer down.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I am appalled by the treatment I am getting. Buying from this Cash Crusaders is the epitome of RISKY BUSINESS. I purchased a second-hand laptop here and just a few days later it stopped working. I understand that buying used goods can be risky. They took it in for repairs and told me it would take 21 days. It has now been 2 months. When I called for an update, I spoke to a lady named Michelle who told me it was not her problem and that they could not do anything. She even mentioned she had been on leave for 7 weeks, as if that somehow makes my issue irrelevant. I asked to have the laptop returned so I could fix it myself, but was told that was not an option. When I asked when I would get it back, the response was “I don’t know, any day.” From 21 days to “I don’t know, any day” is not just unprofessional, it is completely unacceptable. This is not how you run a business.
***** and unprofessional! Be very careful when dealing with this company. They’ve been dodging payment for over 6 weeks now — not just for the work I completed, but also for my UX designer. Despite multiple follow-ups, they’ve ignored messages and calls. Instead of settling what they owe, they had the nerve to send me a formal message demanding the return of a laptop — as if that’s more urgent than paying for work that has been done! This kind of behaviour is shady and unacceptable. If you’re a freelancer or service provider, protect yourself.
If I had the option to put 0 stars I would. I canceled my services with Rain in February yet my account IS STILL GETTING DEBITED. I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE INTERNET FOR THE PAST FEW MONTHS. HOW DO YOU TAKE MONEY FOR SERVICES YOU DID NOT PROVIDE???????????? That is a disgusting way of doing business. I called the customer care line and I was told it will take 24 to 48 hours to get any kind of assistance. I regret the day I subscribed to this hideous and useless internet provider.
Terrible customer service! Terrible internet connection! Everything is just terrible. Cancelling is also a mission and a half.
