Deceitful and malicious agency
A rebranding of "Permanent Trust"- have a look at Permanent Trust's Hello Peter account and beware of the dishonest practices used by this agency. Irregular deposit returns. Terribly communication. Overcharges without an invoice or breakdown until requested. Deceitful and dishonest. To pinpoint an example of deceit - the lease agreement states "wall to wall repainting required if making a hole". Permission was granted to make the hole and hang a picture. I accepted, and refilled the hole. And then a charge would be fair to, as per the lease, repaint that one wall. Instead, I got charged to repaint the ENTIRE APARTMENT. Avoid this company! They *will* steal your deposit.

Overcharging tenants and poor communication
Permanent trust invests your deposit with themselves, and earns <2% interest per year. They also bill you to repaint the entire apartment if you put a nail in one wall (in spite of the lease stating repainting needs to occur "panel to panel"). Any excuse to charge you - they will, since painting is the tenant's job - best believe they will drain every cent.... whilst at the same time the windows are cracked, and every single frame is rusted, and the ceiling is peeling. Guess who is legally obligated to fix ceilings, and rusted window frames...? Oh that's right, they only care about perfect maintenance when the tenant is responsible.

Disingenuous charges and "exclusions"
(Partner company of CarTrawler). The company reserves a R28,000 deposit (the high deposit is only mentioned AFTER payment for the rental has been made). If you do not have this available on your credit card upon arrival, they refuse to release the vehicle, and refuse to refund you.
