Submitted my claim on the 11th of July and my nightmare with Momentum Started there. Everything was cordial with Aretha via email until there was zero response to my emails. After making follow up calls a couple of weeks later I was given the impression my claim would be processed in a matter of days and sent to SARS for a tax directive. Its been over 2 months and I have been given false promise after false promise. Wasted so much airtime and put on hold for endless minutes. I have spoken to several agents and its the same thing. They speak very nicely and apologize but nothing actually happens. No feed back, nothing. The latest from Lorraine being that a company which I have never been affiliated with is blocking my claim. I was told it would be cleared and within a few days it would be paid out. Up to now I have no idea if this has been sorted or when the claim is going to be sent to SARS for a tax directive. This is beyond ridiculous and I have no idea what is going on. Momentum is the last company ever to do business with on any level. Very good at marketing but their after service is worse than the worst government department. Please process my claim and stop ruining peoples’ lives!!!!

Beyond that nothing, To anyone reading this, some of us submitted our claims months ago and still nothing. A very dishonest organisation and it seems employees are trained to lie to members. I'm still waiting for a tax directive, maybe it will happen sometime in 2025 still. Momentum is the worst ever, I used to deal with AF. no issues. They keep telling you something is happening, an escalation blah blah, but its all lies.
Seeing the reviews for July alone is very distressing, Submitted a claim on the 11th of July and after having called a few times, waiting for up to an hour, I have very little hope of ever getting my money any time soon. Momentum is very good at marketing but the other reviews prove there is a very serious problem of service delivery. It takes weeks/months to process a simple claim!! and pity for those who have no means to escalate. I hope to get my money very soon as I still wait for Tax directive!!!!!
Ordered goods from Pick n Pay vua Mr D and goods first showed as delivery time 2 hours yet normally it would take 30 minutes, Anyway after an hour goods showed on the ap as DILEVERED yet no delivery happened. The driver closed it as delivered and what's worse is that call centre is of no help. they have no idea what to do about it. Ordering anything via Mr D is a gamble. their drivers seems to be *****ing peoples stuff!!!
Order says Delivered, yet nothing was actually done. I ordered some groceries from Pick n Pay via Mr D and the order said it would take 2 hours, given that it normally takes less than 30, munites. Next thing order was flagged as DELUEVERED yet not even one person from Mr D showed up. Mr D Drivers are *****ing peoples goods!!
I bought a CCTV KOmbo kit on Black Friday special and besides the substandard quality the storage drive was defective. I had to acquire and install my own hard drive. This after trying unsuccessfully to contact them via whatsup, phone calls.Been buying from this company for years and it was just that everything worked. The problem comes IF you want after sales services. It's terrible and makes a person feels like they are a ****!!!
I tried to open an online Merchant account with Capitec so my new business can trade professionally. A rude consultant Lebogang Lesia called me a while after getting an email from the first online process. Maybe Capitec forces its workers to call customers but there is not even any need to. The whole experience from the time he called, was more like it was the customer who was bothering him & Capitec. Next time just tell your customers to open accounts at the other banks FNB or ABSA!!! Why do we have to get annoyed by rude consultants!!! The system was throwing errors even after filling everything correctly and was told someone would call to assist., 24 hours later nothing.
I opened my Account and after several back and forth not being able to use the card I was finally assisted by Elie, who went out of her way to resolve my issue fast. After much frustration. Please keep it up and continue with good customer service.
I WAS HIT BY AMBUSH MARKETTING BY AVATRADE SALES WHO CONVINCED ME TO make a deposit which I did and without WARNING, was hit by some in activity fine. This despite being told my account deposit will be safe. AVATRADE SPAMS the hell out of my mail box every day with their useless emails and NOT even one will warn you that they are about to TAKE HALF OF YOUR DEPOSIT.!!!
Bought a meter about a month ago and have been battling with this company to get it to be replaced under warranty. You are thrown from pillar to post but get no results. This company is a fraud. If you want prepaid, choos another supplier.
