My vehicle was booked in for repairs to lock of left front passenger door. Lock was fixed but was left with bad wind noise that had never been there before. Took the car back but nothing was done about the noise. Instead it was suggested that I replace some rubbers at a cost of over R3500. In fact, it was even hinted that I caused the damage myself. Moreover as I stood in front of the receptionist, I could hear the agent mocking me over the phone. The noise is so bad, I will have to fork out to fix it, but definitely not at Garden City Motors.
I would like to thank and commendate Xena Bosch from Absa Graaff- Reinet Enquiry Desk. She goes far and beyond to help a customer. She is always pleasant to work with and she really goes the extra mile. She stands head and shoulders above the rest. For what she means for Absa, they should double her salary.
I Have had many dealings with Loot before and it was always excellent. On 9 Jan 2023 it all changed. I ordered online. (ORDER NR KWDR-695 668. After a few days I noticed that the amount on my order was different than the amount I paid. Sent e-mail to customer care and was given ticket nr and someone would come back to me. Never did. Few days after that I phoned customer care. Was informed that stock was depleted. I specifically requested refund and not account credit to purchase item elsewhere. Operator advised my to send e-mail with cancellation request and banking details. Did that. Got another ticket nr and someone would get back to me. Never did. Send a follow up e-mail to ask for progress on refund. Got reply that the 2nd item is on its way to me. Then noticed my account was credited with an amount. Tried to phone customer care again to explain and get resolution. Just kept on ringing and call got cut off after a while. Loot has been fabulous in all they years dealing with them. I find the current situation unacceptable.
In Apr 2020 I signed a 2 year contract with Eyona Security Services for an alarm system on a rent to own basis. I was also put on the Hyyp App to monitor and manage the alarm system. In May 2022 I paid the last installment. I also sent proof of full payment to their rep. Earlier this month I was deleted from the app without any notice. I can now not monitor or manage my alarm in any way when I am not at home. Can I be assisted to be pur back on the HYYP app. I can still provide proof of full payment.

Is it possible for an employee of the Post Office to 'accidentally' renew my motor vehicle licence. And also not in my area, but 300km away. Without my consent or any documentation?
I wish to commend Fishers Jewelers, Greenacres Mall, PE. I am from out of town and went to them to fix a ring that had lost a diamond. The ring was returned to me within hours. Although it was a very small job, I was treated like a million dollar client. Other jewelers would not take on such a small job, but instead tried to sell me a rebuild of my ring for thousands of rands. I commend Fishers Jewelers for excellent service and the best customer care ever.
I just want to know? Is it the norm or fair practice for Absa Insurance to take an almost 20% commission annually on my property insurance?
I have a debt issue between Standard Bank and my son. which he is currently not able to handle himself.(Health reasons). I have tried to make arrangements with the bank, but they referred me to their attorneys. I have tried to contact them numerous times. For months on end just got the message that they are unable to take my call. When I eventually got through I was cut short very quickly and informed that they will not deal with a 3rd party. Is it fair towards my son or any of the banks's clients to have this attetude? In the end he will have a judgement against him and blacklisted while he himself is unaware of any letter of demand or summons. All whilst I am willing to make arrangements but are not allowed to. I cannot just sit by and allow Standard Bank to destroy my son's life, without even being given a chance to remedy. I think I must go to the bank Ombud , Credit Bureau and Legal Board. It really seems that there is no interest in a remedy, but just to make more and more money out of their clients.
Yesterday Monday 24 Jan 2022 power was cut at my home while 44 degrees outside. Went to the local municipality. According to them they had opened a new bank account and my money for the last two months had been deposited into the wrong account. Was said that all banks returned the money to deponents account except for Absa. Send me to the bank to have money reversed back into my account so that I can deposit it to the new bank account of the local municipaliry. Went to the branch to have money reversed. In the past two very nice ladies called Zena and Felicia would sort out any problems that I had. This time there was a new face. I was told that I must send an e-mail and I will be sorted. Send an e-mail immediately as interest had been added to my municipal account. It would only be reversed on my prove of payment. Followed up to call centre a day later as my e-mail had not been read yet. Was informed to wait 21 days. Explained that the situation is urgent and was advised to go back to branch. Spoke to the manager of Absa Graaff-Reinet. Tried to explain my situation. She refused to assist me and referred me back to sending an e-mail. She was rude from the start and I never got the impression that she was trying to serve me as a longtime customer of the bank. My municipal services was reconnected and I was asked to have the matter sesolved by Friday or my services would be cut again. I find it totally unacceptable that Absa Graaff-Reinet refuses to assist me. They could at least have given me a contact nr. This is an urgent matter that cannot take months to resolve. (If I have to wait 21 days everytime for a respinse to my e-mail). The bank manager of Absa Graaff-Reinet did not even give me a chance to finish. She interupted me before hearing the full story and just refused me any service. I am highly contemplating to move my account from Absa as I have lost all faith in the bank.
