Vodacom, one total mess of epic proportions
One word pathetic. All I want is Vodacom to re-send our Business statement and invoices, pretty simple request. Well after a couple of hours I am no closer to organising this. I have tried talking to people who are clueles, I tell them upfront its a business 20 minutes later they say oh so sorry I cant help on business. I try the business line not a human to be found, the idiotic phone system tells me to press # if I am calling from the phone line I want to query, I press # it tells me the number doesnt exist, but I am calling from it. I go to the busness section on their website to chat to the helpline and get a chatbot that asks me the same questions three times then tells me sorry they the sales chatbot I must phone the the business line ie the one that says my number does not exist. *** is wrong with this company. How do I get our invoices and statement???

Standard Bank *********** small business.
We operate a small business and require change (coins and small notes). Yesterday we went to Cresta Branch of Standard Bank where our company banks to collect change. We changed R900 and were charged R111,10 that's a charge of 12.3%. We are already paying monthly bank fees, cash deposit fees and service fees. COME ON STANDARD BANK, are you trying to kill small business??????????

CON ARTIST CHEF Jason Skead calls himself Magic Meals
We employed Magic Meals (Pty) Ltd represented by Chef Jason Skead to cater for a dinner at our home. My wife discussed all menus, requirements and additional staff with him in detail. He sent us a quotation, we paid a 50% deposit of R4,273-50. Two days before the event he said he was thinking of cancelling because he was too busy. My wife said she would ask someone else to do the dessert, and he agreed he would do the rest. On the Saturday of the event he sent us a WhatsApp advising we had not paid the balance of the quoted amount (we had advised him we would pay him COD) and he was cancelling!! We called immediately, he would not answer his phone or reply to e-mails, he has not responded to requests to refund our deposit. Luckily we only paid 50%, this guy is a *****. No address on his quotation or website www.magicmeals.co.za We have laid a complaint with the Consumer Council and will spread the word on social media. BEWARE OF THIS CON ARTIST

Very Unhappy with Eurolux products
Over the past 18 months I purchased 14 Eurolux outdoor LED lights that come on at night and go off in the day. Of the 14 purchased only two are still working. Of the seven ones I purchased in 2023, 5are not working. Today I returned 4 (with proof of purchase) to Builders Warehouse and they said they cannot take them back as one of the LED's in each lamp is burnt out and Eurolux will not collect them. The packaging clearly states they should last 25,000 hours, that's about 3 years if left on constantly. In my opinion this is misleading. How do I sort this out?

Thank you Bernidene Fourie for the awesome service. I highly recommend Leeuwner Maritz Attorneys and in particular Bernidene Fourie who is very efficient and professional, she kept us the sellers up to date daily and managed our property transfer speedily and accurately. What a star :)

Standard Bank stuffing customers around
Ok, so my branch is Cresta it’s closed notice says go to Northgate! Friday I go to Northgate at 13h25 to be told sorry we close at 13h00 I need to deposit R20,000 in coins, must pay staff etc. They shrugged their shoulders and told me to come back on Monday ie today. Went there at 11h45, ie an hour and 15 mins to closing there are over 75 people in a queue outside the bank. Inside the bank the tellers have no one to attend to but enquiries are busy but they won’t allow me into the tellers. I spoke to people in the queue who had been waiting for well over an hour!!! I won’t make it into the bank before closing TELL ME WHAT SERVICE IS THIS.

Business bank or rather not business friendly bank
Can anyone advise, which banks offer Business Tellers in their branches? Standard Bank no longer do and they expect Business Clients to stand in line with Retail customers and do their deposit at regular tellers with no Privacy, placing themselves at risk from dishonest prying eyes. I have complained to head office but they are not interested. So time to change banks after 38 years.
