After almost 2 years of headaches and a system that doesn't work properly, i recently found out GoSolr installs second hand equipment / batteries into your home, you pay monthly for a brand new system and if you want to buy the system to own it, you are actually paying for someone else's old equipment. To top it off, to buy a 8kw system with 3 batteries and 18 panels, GoSolr charges R120,000 MORE than the cost of a 16kw system, 4 batteries and 26 panels. Absolute ******* and disgusting to see how you think this is acceptable. So dishonest to think you can charge these prices and then due to the high cost, you cancel to buy elsewhere rather and then get hit with a R30,000 bill to uninstall their second hand system.
Cancelled with Mzansi over 2 years ago for poor response and service, useless company, lies about their response etc. 2 years later, i am receiving invoices, have asked numerous times to be removed from their system, they refuse to do so, now i am being debited for services. NO authorisation was given for Mzansi to debit my account, yet did so anyway. Can't believe a company can be so dis organised, unprofessional and SO ***********! If Mzansi can't even get something as simple as an instruction right, how can they look after someone's house?
For months now my system has not been working, several technicians have been out to resolve, unsuccessfully until last week. Batteries wouldn't charge higher than 58%, house during the night was in darkness on more than one occassion leaving me without camera's or the alarm system. Finally 2 months later, it's resolved and i get told GoSolr doesn't offer any compensation for what i have gone through, but will make an exception and give a R500 discount. During the 2 months of not having a fully functional system, not only have i paid for the system but my electricity usage and bill has gone up because they were testing the system by putting me on full eskom grid charge to see if the batteries would charge up. GoSolr takes absolutely NO accountability for their service and systems that don't work and give endless issues.
System installed end of July, workmanship was disgusting, blew the breakers in the substation outside and we had no power for 48 hours! Install finally had to be reinstalled as was done incorrectly and was overheating. System kept tripping during mild weather and lightning, blew tv's and computer equipment, claimed from insurance only to find out recently after quality assurance team came to site that the proper surge protection was not installed and thats the cause of teh surge and equipment blowing, so my insurance company is now dealing with this to claim back costs. After endless issues and non existent service received, i have cancelled with GoSolr and been told i have to pay R20,000 ro uninstall the system. Consumer protection act states if i pay for a service and i am not receiving the service i am paying for, the contract is null and void! Posted a review to GoSolr facebook site, GoSolr have deleted my negative reviews and kept only the positive ones so that the public only see's that GoSolr has good reviews, which is absolutely dishonest and disgusting to know the public is being **** to by GoSolr! Worst company i have ever had to deal with, dishonest and money greedy!
Sent a request for the exchange of an item incorrectly advertised on their site, its been almost a month with NO resolution yet. I have been promised that someone will contact me, but no one ever does, absolutely disgusting service and shoddy to deal with. LAST time i ever purchase from this company!
It has taken almost 2 months now since they installed. The process is, site visit first then install after that when everyone is in agreement on the install location and whats involved etc. This was never done and they decided to install where they felt it should be. Install was done so close to the corner walls that airflow was restricted and as a result the systems fans came on almost every half an hour for 10 minutes to try cool the system down. It was installed into a study where we work from home and as a result, work was near impossible due to the noise. After a month of damages to the house, *****s through the roof, electricity outage for 19 hours, endless headaches and a system that didn't work like it should, Gosolr finally had the system reinstalled to another room, but the holes in the walls, the wooden roof etc from the initial installation were horrific. R8000 worth of repairs to fix everything. Asked gosolr to cover those costs because the damages wouldn't be there in the first place if the site visit was done and installation was done properly the first time, and GoSolr rep**** back to say that the cost of teh repairs is for my account and not theirs and they won't do anything about it at all. To cause 2 lots of damages to my home, poor installation the first time, no power for 19 hours and refusal to repair the damages now after relocation is absolutely disgusting to turn around and say, damage costs are for my account. I have now instructed them to remove the entire system and take everything out of my home once and for all, never to do business with GoSolr again! Worst installation ever, worst customer service and absolutely disgusting attitude from them all around! Wouldn't recommend them to anyone at all unless you want a similar experience. If i could give them zero stars i would!
Ordered item 25th October, STILL waiting. Dehan informed me it would be delivered 1st week December, haven't heard from him OR Justin ever since and have sent numerous emails asking where my order is, i just get ignored. Phone's don't work, emails aren't returned, going to continue splashing this company all over social media informing everyone of the poor service and theft of my money and not delivering!
It has been months and still no resolution! Brand new item faulty, promised me a refund weeks ago, still waiting, sent the same faulty unit back instead. Last week they called me and said they will get the unit collected and sent back to them, as soon as its received they will process the refund and resolve the issue, yet NOTHING has been done to date. I have complained on their Facebook page about the service, Snatcher blocked me and deleted my posts so the public can't see what's being said about them, how dishonest! Snatcher is a company that lies, is dishonest and has stolen my money and proven they have NO intention on ever refunding me and as a result i have now seeked legal advice and will be opening a case of fraud and theft against Snatcher.
Pathetic, refuse to get a manager to call me back after I've asked numerous times, been over a month, promised a refund for faulty item, instead was sent the same faulty item back again! No communication, no intent of a refund, absolute theft and breach on CPA without a care in the world about the consumer.
Poor service! Delivered a faulty item, hoverboard doesn't hold a charge, took over a week to get them to have the item collected only after I called and complained about nothing being done. 2 weeks further and after sending banking details for a refund, they send the same still faulty unit back again! Disgusting experience, unit was faulty within the first few weeks, consumer protection act will be hearing about this.
