Disappointed with Protea Fire and ice umhlanga
*Disappointing Stay at Protea Fire & Ice* I'm writing to express my disappointment and frustration with our recent stay at Protea Fire & Ice hotel. We arrived on 8 Jan at 1pm, exhausted from our long trip, only to find our room was dirty and the bathroom was disgusting. We were shocked and disappointed. The staff were helpful and tried to assist us, but it took 5 hours to get sorted out with a new room. Despite the efforts of Shannon, the reservation manager, issues persisted. The new room had a faulty shower and non-working fridge, which were eventually replaced. While the staff were friendly and did their best, it's clear the hotel is not being maintained to the standard expected of a Protea hotel. We were looking forward to a relaxing stay, but instead, we were constantly dealing with issues. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of our expectations.

Spur clearwater mall is disgusting. Food is always cold and we have always wait for more then a hour.

DISGUSTING SERVICE AND ROOMS
I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed by the service I have received upon my stay suncity cabanas! we arrived on the 1st May 2024 checked in at 4pm into the cabanas. The floors were smelly and dirty as well as the toilet. I had my 6 year old with me, she just wanted to go get some supper and play games.I did not make a fuss about the rooms that night. I waited till the morning for the cleaning staff and then asked them to please clean my floors and my toilet properly.This was told to the cleaning lady three times.We were out for the rest of the day and returned at 10pm to the room.When we checked the floors and toilet it was still disgusting and had not been cleaned.The same spots of dirt that was on the floor the first day was still there and the toilet had the worst smell ever.My bed was not dusted or even dressed properly. The room was so poorly maintained, seems like I paid to stay at a cheap BnB! I then compalined to the guy at reception who didnt seem to care.Someone came to my room at 11pm to check what was happening and said he would send someone to clean my room at 11pm when my 6 year old child is sleeping. This was just a complete in**** and disrespect.Toilets at the entertainment center were always dirty and so unhygienic. I have spoken to 4 different managers and no one was able to help me or slove this problem. To date I have not gotten any feed back. Suncity has been our yearly trip but it won't be again and I won't be referring anyone else to this resort!

BAD SERVICE
No one should be ordering from this site! This is my first time and i have had the worst service ever!!!!! I ordered a few things on black Friday and saw 5 to 7 working days so I went on with my order. Wednesday i tried to call a few times and eventually someone answered,I was told my order has not even been packed to send off!I asked how is this possible because your delivery is 5 to 7 days I was then told it's 7 to 15 days due to black Friday if that's the case why was it not put on the website on black Friday to make customers aware of this ! Been calling to find out again and no one ever answers! this is bad service and a disgusting place to order from ! STOP HAVING SALES IF YOU CANNOT KEEP UP WITH DELIVERIES!!!!
