We had double debit orders deducted end of December. Today is 24 January and we still haven't been reimbursed. The absolute embarrassment to borrow money from family and friends has taken my last bit of dignity. The most disappointing part is the absolute lack of communication or responsibility by Standard Bank. I've even emailed their corporate team lead by the useless Sim Tshabalala but obviously didn't get any feedback. These overpaid names below couldn't care less about their clients. To avoid endless frustration, Incompetence, and total lack of respect, I will advise you to please not join or support this bank.
We had duplicate debit orders deducted and some debit orders went off 3 times end of December/1 January. Today is the 15th and we still haven't been sorted out. The absolute lackluster and neverminded attitude from Standard Bank is absolutely atrocious and just shows how they feel about their clients. I've never in my life seen such an *********** company. We had to borrow money to pay our rent, its January ffs!
We paid for a rental for a month. Only after we made the immediate payment did they show us the car. To our disappointment, the car was dented and looks terrible, very similar to a banged up Tuna Tin painted with red nail polish! At first we were rather excited as the rates seemed good, and we kept asking ourselves what the catch was. We even asked them to remove the rental sticker as we were planning on renting for longer. I wish now that they would have kept the sticker on or at least covered a dent with it. Well the catch is a terrible looking car and staff that don't want to find a solution. I spoke to a Damian who didn't want to find a solution except for us to cancel. These companies know that when you rent you are desperate, and they will abuse you as they know there isn't much of an alternative. I can guarantee you that because we posted this review they will try everything in their might to keep the deposit. We do not recommend this company, save yourself the stress, or go in with extremely low expectations.

Been waiting for a parcel since 17 January when "record was created" Today is the 24th of January and the Aramex "Storetodoor" tracking is still stuck on the 19th with no progress update. Sent them Whatsapp this morning at 8:00 and this was their reply " Parcel ??#?? is out on delivery with our agent and the parcel is expected to be delivered by close of business today." I waited the whole day like a fool with my phone as I need to open the gate should the driver arrive. I sent them another Whatsapp 16:30 and this was their new reply "A regional is any area outside of a 50 km radius from a main Centre. Delivery to a regional area may take longer in some cases, depending on service frequency. In some cases, a particular area may only be serviced a few times a week and not daily. Your parcel was handed over to the agent for delivery no later than Wednesday" Absolutely shocking!!
Was a long term loyal Vox customer but lost all respect for Vox. They treat customers like **** and definitely won't go the extra mile. They are quick to remind you of your bill but if you need assistance they treat you like ****. Glad I'm taking my business elsewhere. I won't reccomend Vox at all!
So this company led by CEO Dieter Munnik took my money but never offered a service! After they took my money the person allocated to assist me went on leave without them informing me. I only found this out after contacting them myself as they will never make contact first. It's been more than a month now and I still haven't received my refund I asked for. I dealt with a lady called Korette Croukamp who is absolutely clueless. Don't make use of this company, they will take your money without assisting you. They won't make contact and will avoid you for as long as it suits them. This is by far the worst and most frustrating company I have ever dealt with. 1 Star is a way to generous rating for this "company"
