I booked for driving lessons at Amaswazi driving school in Durban on field street the owner is Prince I paid R1500 for the lessons. I went for a few lessons then they said I can pay them 700 for them to help me get a test date they took me to Pinetown and Rossburg which was backlogged and giving ticket number they gave me a ticket number that asked me to come back for my test date after my learners expired. I told the owner prince that his booking guy took R700 from me and he said R100 would be taking me to the test station to get a test date. The owner said he can help me they have a place in Umzinto that gives test dates quickly but they need 5500 so I said I don’t have that amount so I ended up paying 2350 plus the 600 it’s R2950 but after I gave the owner the money which he personally came to fetch and said we need to hurry I had to call him everyday to find out. On the day my learners expired he called me and said he couldn’t get a date at Umzinto I asked for my obey back and now he’s ignoring me. They can keep the 1500 for lessons because I attended but I want my 2950 which was to get me a test date that they failed to do. The owner Prince is now ignoring my calls
We took a ride and I mistakenly forgot my Purse In the car. The driver told me outright that if I want my purse back there may be things missing. I told him there’s important things including my learners and ID and I have a driving test soon. The driver returned the purse with R900 missing and charged me an additional R100 to bring back my purse. I contacted inDriver and they simply said the driver said he got the purse from another client. Which I highly doubt because I called the driver in the evening and he sounded asleep. I don’t think Indriver even checked that he had a ride after me. They said I must go to the police. Without confirming that the driver really did have a ride after me. They also did not address the driver charging me an additional R100 to bring back the purse and they only responded today because I cc’d consumer complaints in the email.they have offered no assistance with the investigation and want me to go everywhere to sort it out when I have been a victim of one of their drivers
I am absolutely amazed and so impressed by Butcher block’s care for customers. I placed an order through Mr D food and it timed out when I was selected the payment option so I decided to go all the way back and reorder only to find my card gets debited twice for the same order. When Butcher block received this, they called Mr D to contact me because they were concerned they received the same order twice. I informed them that I meant to place one so one was deleted for me and I was refunded. To top that Butcher block called again to tell Mr D they were out of the cooldrink I had chose and gave names of the ones they had. This is honestly exceptional. 90% of restaurants would have prepared 2 meals because it’s more money for them, and I’m sure everyone who has ordered online from other restaurants has had an experience where they give you coke but you wanted sprite without even calling to ask you what you prefer it’s just a surprise when you get your order.
I had such a horrible experience of being overcharged by this restaurant. I ordered from them through Mr D then when the food was delivered they put a menu and a sticky note that says they offer more reliable and cheaper transport and you save by buying through them. So the following day I tried them directly, on the menu the item was R65. When the driver comes he says the amount for everything including delivery is R100. I was shocked out of mind but I paid then scrutinized the receipt. They charged me R70 for a 65 rand order and delivery was R15 twice. I WhatsApp the lady who took my Ofer because you can also place the Order through WhatsApp. She calls and says o sorry we charged you incorrectly for the meal we will take 5 rand off your next order . I asked her how much is delivery Ana she said 30 rand. The delivery is soo extortionist for the distance it’s literally 5 to 5 minutes away. They still kept my the money they over charged me because saying you will take it off my next order is ridiculous because I will never want to order there again. I’m just shocked that we are suffering as a country financially and you extort people who still support your business in the midst of a pandemic
I called 30 minutes prior to place my order and they accepted it. I then came to collect the order and they made me wait for 15 minutes then informed me they were out of a fold over- what I don’t understand is why couldn’t they tell me over the phone when placing my order
I am soo disappointed with Nedbank I have been using their services for years but this last 2 incidentsmakes me want to close my savings account and investment account and Cheque account. They broke into my place and stole my card and I requested for a new one. One was delivered to a branch I was unable to pick up because I was going back and forth through provinces because my granny is very ill with heart problems and in and out of hospital. This card is due to expire on the 31st they are telling me today when I enquire about my card that they destroyed the card I paid for because I didn’t fetch it due to my personal circumstances. I will be charged again to get another card that is expiring. Nobody bothered to inform me my card will be destroyed and will be charged once again. Had I been informed I could tried to come to Durban to fetch it on time had I been aware. 3nd issue I asked for a record for my person loan payment they only sent 3 months when I clearly told the consultant I feel I have been paying for a long time I want to see how much I have paid so far I’m soo disappointed
Capfin made no attempt to resolve my query. They have shockingly poor customer services
I would not even put the 1 star but it would not allow me to continue to write till I select it. They are sooo horrible. I work for a company that Uk regulated which means SA holidays do not affect or getting paid early in December does not affect me. I called Capfin’s call center because I don’t want to miss a payment and they are saying they cannot debit my account on the normal debit date because it’s December. Which means they are going to be taking money that’s supposed to sustain me till the 28th of December. They don’t even want to appreciate the fact I’m calling to ask if they can debit my account as normal now if they debit my account, I will be forced to reverse the direct debit because they will be taking from my rent money. This will ruin my credit scoring I wish I never used such an inconsiderate company.
