<div>My daughter is selling her 1st year uni textbooks and listed them on Textbook Trader. This particular textbook is almost new and was purchased at a cost of R660 last year. It was practically unused. When listed on Textbook Trader, to be fair, it was listed as average and not excellent condition, as it could've been. We were contacted and told that the textbook had been sold and a courier would collect it, which they did. Payment was promised within 3-5 working days. Once collected, they stating that they were selling the textbook for R350 and of that, we would only get R150? After a week, no payment was made and no contact was made either. We tried to reach them by email and telephone and were advised that the textbook was in terrible condition and they could not sell it? We could either leave the textbook with them or pay for a courier to get the textbook back. That was on 29-Jan. We subsequently paid the R200 courier fee to get the textbook back as we will try to sell it ourselves at uni. We have had no response to emails, no returned calls, no refund and no textbook despite having paid the additional courier fees. Can someone please get back to us to resolve this matter?</div>
Sunica Geldenhuys was so helpful and explained my options easily and understandably. Thank you so much
I went to get a competitive quote from Outsurance. Then my current insurer came in lower than Outsurance. So I decided to stay with my current insurer. Outsurance took money off of my account - over R2500 and has only refunded R321. I have sent emails, called and received many return calls but have still not been refunded. I told them on 16 and 17Jan that I am staying with my current insurer. I sent an email on 27Jan asking if they have cancelled the policy as I'd received nothing in writing confirming this. No response. But on 2-Feb, they happily took the money from my account and I am fighting to have it returned. Shall I approach the Ombudsman? I do not want to deal with anyone telephonically anymore, I just want my money back.
Thank you Brendan for your prompt assistance online. It took less than 5 minutes to add my new furry babies to my existing policy
Great team in Cape Town. Willing to assist at any time. I definitely recommend their services.
I apologise for the negative rating. With my email bouncing to spam and my order's payment getting lost in cyber space - my order did arrive and I am extremely happy with my order. Thank you Bianca and PrintWild for rectifying the issue and turning this unhappy customer into a grateful one. Many thanks.
I'm sad to say that they have scammed me. I placed an order online and paid using a credit card. I have a reference but when I ask about my order, I am totally ignored. I went onto the website and asked the chatbot how long delivery takes, their response a few days. I have been waiting almost a month. When I queried my order with the chatbot, once again - total silence. I'm highly disappointed as this was supposed to be a Christmas gift.
Thank you HelloPeter. If I didn't rate Trudon here, the matter would not have been resolved. I have been running in circles between Debt Collectors, Telkom and Trudon. But thanks to HelloPeter, they came to me and we resolved the issue.
I call the landline - it says they are following Covid protocol and must send and email. I call the call share number - it puts you through to Telkom? I send emails and have no responses to my query. I spoke to Telkom yesterday who've handed our account over to debt collectors because Trudon are billing us. Yet I cannot reach anyone or receive a response from Trudon to find out what we are being billed for. The account was cancelled in February.
