Discouraging
Took my car for scheduled service and replacing driving lights. On collection, the rear seat aircon unit was sitting detached on the floor and other replaced parts loosely placed on the rear seat. The advisor attending to me was equally shocked to discover this. I had to spend more time to wait for the loose aircon unit to be fixed. I later discovered the cornering lights were not working.

Mercedes Benz Sandton loses quality service to its Customers.
I took in my vehicle to attend to the front lights. When I went to collect the vehicle, the aircon unit in the back seat was lying loose on the floor. The service advisor roughly attached it back and hurriedly left me alone. I had to follow him to tell him that the thing he just attached waa still not okay as the louvres were still twisted. The car was moved from the collection bay back to the workshop where a mechanic was asked to fix the aircon. A week later I called back to register my complaint with the Dealer Principal who was not available. A workshop manager tendered his appology about the whole thing and the fact that no one called me to findout if everthing was okay, which is standard practice with sister dealerships. To date I have not received any phone call from them.

Takealot fails to take responsibility for a refund query
One of my recent purchases on Takealot had a price reduction a couple of days later. After highlighting this to them and asking if I could get a refund for the difference in price, they redirected me to the supplier of the item I bought. I found this response a bit odd as Takealot is the store that I bought the item from, not the supplier.

Online scamming business.
This is an entity operating as an online business. More than 2 months ago, I ordered an item which they promised to deliver within 21 days. Several enquiries of the delivery later was met with many varying non committal excuses until finally they said they did not have the item in stock and may never have it ever.
