I ordered and paid for 12 kit bags online on 4 Feb. The delivery date on the system says 11 Feb. The parcel cannot be tracked as the courier system is not the correct courier company. I have phoned 3 times and told the matter would be 'escalated' to the courier company and I would be emailed with an explanation. No email. I have tried to email the 'support' email on the website - no reply. At one stage I was asked if I could go into the Tygerberg shop in CT and collect them. I live in Knysna, 500km away. One lady got very rude and when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was placed on endless hold. It's now 20 Feb, almost 3 weeks after ordering - still no explanation, no resolution, no kit bags. I've now ready many similar stories on HelloPeter - what is going on with Mr Price, a 'trusted' brand????!!! Where are my bags? If you can't get them to me, then you must refund my money. You can't just ignore this and hope it goes away!! You have taken my money and not supp**** the goods in exchange, which is *******.
After a month, I eventually received my order. It looks nothing like what I ordered and I paid a premium price for it. It's a piece of low-quality rag that I would be embarrassed to even give away. This is a series of upmarket-sounding online 'South African' 'boutiques' all trading on upmarket area names around SA, looking as if it's a South African company with an SA URL. Just a Chinese ripoff once again.
Why do I never learn?!? Ordered a clothing item from them on Sunday - still no tracking info. Two email enquiries have been politely and lucidly answered - apparently they are 'experiencing very high order volumes' but I should expect my parcel soon. I have no faith. How many times must I do this before I learn...??
After my review on HelloPeter and raising the issue with the NCC, we have yesterday (23 April) been refunded the full amount for an inverter ordered on 26 March.
Unfortunately another ****mer and I should have checked HelloPeter first. I ordered an inverter for my boss because the price was so low but should have realised that if something looks too good to be true, it probably is. No inverter, polite apologies and promises from 'Amore Visser', phones don't get answered or if they do, very unprofessionally with promises of 'feedback later'. Not holding my breath. The website looks legit so maybe they used to operate, I don't know, but now they're just *****ing people's money.
Wish I'd read the reviews before spending a lot of money on 3 expensive items - more than I would pay in a shop here in SA - and receiving such appalling quality items! They are obviously buying the items from Shein or somewhere worse and somehow making them look great on the website. Then they charge 4 times the Shein price and fool you into believing it's good quality clothing from a local SA site. As other reviewers have said, they are so bad you can't even give them away. So disgusted, thought I'd learnt my online lesson!
Isn't the time for call centre agents working from home past now? It took me 20 minutes to get through to a live person at FNB just to transfer a balance between my credit card straight and budget account. Why this can't be done online via the app or online banking, I don't know. I got passed from number to number, had to enter my ID 5 times, got quizzed about what I wanted to do by a robot who didn't understand that I actually needed to TALK to someone to get this simple thing done. I eventually got through to a human and while I was talking to her, her baby was moaning in my ear. How professional. She apologised for the baby interrupting us, but really??!! If you can't manage a professional service working from home, then you need to be back in the office. Why are so many people still 'Working From Home' at big corporates and especially government institutions?? What are they scared of? Actually having to do some work??
Took about 5 weeks to get here but it did arrive. Shockingly bad quality and the items look NOTHING LIKE what is advertised on the site. So disappointed again because their website makes the clothes look so good and when you get them after months of waiting, you see how cheap the fabric is and how badly made they are. They obviously make one nice original and use that on the models and then get some backstreet factory to try and copy it at the cheapest possible price. It would be funny if it wasn't such a rip-off. I have no faith in online ordering any more.
No delivery from 10 Jan and no contact. When I phone Terence is hostile and aggressive but says I can get a refund if I send my bank details. I don't think so. I am going through the online fraud services at Standard Bank and FNB but there are a lot of hoops to jump through. Maybe if everyone takes action something will be done - why are they allowed to continue operating for years...? It's just theft and everyone knows about it but nothing happens.
