Quadrupled Paybill Municipality Payment from Banking App
I used the banking app to pay my municipal account, The app quadrupled the payment in 3x additional separate payments and the service charges have already been deducted from my account. I contacted an agent via whatsapp, "Adoration" who advised that I should resolve with the municipality as they were PayBills transactions that aren't reversable. she escalated to paybills department. And was asked if I didn't make the payments by mistake? SERIOUSLY? YOUR APP RELEASED 3x ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS. Lets see the the response if any?

STAY FAR AWAY
Its impossible to log a complaint via the chat bot and call centre. Dont even consider using them as an isp. You'll save yourself alot of frustration to skip mweb.

No Refund after they cancelled an online order due to "stock"
Placed an online order for a Lawn Star 900W Line Trimmer, that showed they have 4 in stock, After payment and placing the order, I received a messaged that they don't have stock and that the order has been cancelled. I am still waiting for my refund, I contacted them and was told it will take a further 7 to 10 working days to reflect. they got my payment immediately, but I must now wait for my refund, their website still shows 3 in stock. the same happened with a previous order many months ago. May I please have my refund as you are playing god with my money! 275431 never again will I use them for anything.

DELAY TACTICS WHEN A POLICY REACHES MATURITY
Delay tactics while trying to cash out an investment/ life cover. From pillar to post with their conditions. documents not stamped, not filled in correctly, STAY AWAY! They quick to receive but delay to pay out!

STAY AWAY Not worth the trouble.
Placed an online order with them for 2x license disc holders at R545 (R400 plus R145 shipping), since placing the order I never heard from them, tried to contact them via email as they have no phone number on the website, no address on the website. Still no response. i asked them on the bot for a contact number and address, but they sneakily avoided the question by saying they are an online only co. Chatted to someone on the website message bot, only to receive vague correspondence and excuses that they only started work this week, and that they could offer me a refund within 24 hours. still nothing. they falsely advertise a workshop in Johannesburg. When asking about my refund via the bot I get no response. Guess I've been ****med!

STAY AWAY! THEY WILL **** YOU!
Be Very Careful Don't use super fairings! Order ID26455 Parts were ordered/ paid to collect, when contacting JHB branch via WA, The only answer I got was "We don't have" but they take your money. Sent WA on Friday 14 June, No response. Called today 18 June get told to WA him as he's driving, But from the echo, obviously in the toilet. I get it, I have been ****med.

STAY AWAY Hidden customs charges and cant contact them.
Their website falsely has a .co.za, when ordering they don't advise of buffalo customs clearance which is more than 50% of the item value + shipping. You can never get hold of anyone to resolve and its impossible to cancel.

Impossible To Resolve a ***** Case, Impossible to get hold of a Consultant.
No Service, Impossible to get hold of a ***** consultant. On Saturday the 15/04/2023 ***** was committed on my "cloned"cheque card, putting me -R88 over over draught. Reported it straight away. Kept getting messages to advise I need to make payment arrangements.(***) Went to the bank on the 21/04/2023 to collect my new card and query the ***** case, consultant advised the investigation period was not over yet.( tel cubical) 25/05/23 and 26/04/23 tried getting hold of the ***** department collectively more than 3 Hours of holding on(0800 333 058), eventually got through to a cons and was told there is no update, she transfered me to another dept, and the call gets dropped. I have now given them until cob 05/05/2023 to resolve, I will be moving my banking to another bank. I have already opened an account elsewhere, Even going to the branch they sit you down in a cubical and call 0800 333 058. Standard Bank, SHAME on you!
