The worst mistake from Balwin was choosing Landsdowne properties as their managing agent, what a terrible experience. The estate manager just does not care and is very tone deaf and rude. The previous management group was far better, I have had my apartment for 5 years now and having experienced the previous management I can 100% say they were better.
If they had not yet debited my account I would tell them to cancel this service. Oh my gosh what terrible service! I am switching over from a different service provider, no installations were necessary but a week and a day later I am still sitting without internet because they have not delivered the router. No one seems to know how to contact the courier guys to get answers they just keeping telling me “The router is enroute” when I ask for more details to track the delivery I am told “ We don’t have contact details of the courier.” Honestly how ridiculous can this be! I would not recommend them as a service provider at all. I have so many regrets regarding switching over to them
Oh what a terrible investment and experience. I wish I had read the reviews before making a purchase. The management company (Landsdowne properties) makes the experience even worse. There are do many issues with the estate but when you bring anything up they have countless excuses if you’re not met with rudeness. Estate has no dispute resolution process in place all you have to deal with is the rude estate manager via email if you want to take anything further good luck, the ombudsman is literally you next point of assistance. As a first time home buyer they have ruined the magical experience you’re supposed to enjoy. I truly cannot wait to sell this apartment and all cut ties with Balwin Properties and the managing agent Landsdowne properties.
The claim process is so easy and efficient. Naledi was so helpful and made the experience even better.For someone that’s busy the worst thing I wanted to do is do endless admin for an insurance claim. Discovery Insure really made this possible. My claim was literally sorted in 24 hours and very minimal effort was required from me and Naledi Keeping me updated.I am extremely happy with my experience.
Exceptional service from Clinton. I was very frustrated when I called but his product knowledge and ability to explain made everything 10 times better.
I don’t know how but I forgot the agent’s name but he was so helpful. Our water meter was not working and we reported it but after week no help was received and when we ran out of water we called again. This time the agent that assisted was so helpful. He was able to assist with using a neighbour’s keypad to upload water token and a new keypad was delivered the next morning even though it was a Saturday. Really grateful for his patience and all round helpful attitude.
Our electricity would not come back on after we loaded units even after the main switch was turned off and on, Thabo was so quick in trying to sort out the issue. He called us back with an update in 5 minutes and our electricity was sorted. Really appreciated his sense of urgency and willingness to assist. Great work all round
I am here again after 3 months and the fraudulent contract in my name seems to still be active. I have been trying to get this resolved since January 13th. I have done all that was required of me by the company but it seems the issue has not been resolved even after I have been previously informed it was. On January 13th to my surprise I was notified that a Cell C contract was opened in my name, this was not done by me and I immediately informed Cell C of this. They then requested that I send in an affidavit and a copy of my ID which I compiled with. A month later I was informed the matter was resolved and account has been closed. To my surprise again I have been receiving calls from Cell C that my account is in arrears and when I call back to enquire they tell me they still have record of this account which explains the reason I am getting calls about the account in arrears. I have brought up the issue with Cell C so many times I feel I am out of options as this is now also reflecting on my credit report as an account in arrears. I honestly do not know what else to do regarding this matter
I have never signed up for a Cell C contract nor have I ever had a Cell C number but earlier today I received a message from them that my contract is almost approved. Checked my credit report and there is an enquiry that was made by Cell C. This is unimaginably scary knowing it is this easy for someone to open a fraudulent contract. I have looked on the internet in search for people that have experienced a similar ordeal and have noted that this is a scam that has been going on for years yet there seems to be no resolution from the company.
Had a very unpleasant interaction with some lady called Thembi over the phone. She was unbelievably rude and very impatient.
