This is the worst company to have credit with. When you are at your lowest point and unable to pay during a pandemic, they charge you a fee for every call, sms and email that THEY send you! Now trying to close my account and its been 2 months and they're incompetent staff still can't close my account. Edgars is the perfect example of a rich company draining the poor!
This is the perfect place to waste money. In the time of load shedding, I lost R4200. I bought an inverter and battery from them. It worked fine at first. gave 3/4 hours power, then less than an hour. Running wifi router, a fan and occasionally a tv. Took battery back. They replaced it with one that lasted 1 hour and then died after 2nd loadshedding. They have excuse after excuse on not to replace or assist. With initial purchase we were told its a plug and play. Nothing else needed. Now they insist on an installation certificate but it doesn't connect to the dv box. They refuse to take responsibility and just give essays of excuses. I DO NOT RECOMMOMEND THIS COMPANY!!!
I would like to give praise to the absolutely amazing customer service that I've received from Checkers Hyper Brackenfell employee, Rhusay Eksteen! Last Thursday, we were completely embarrassed at Checkers Durbanville when we got to the till with a full trolley to pay with a WICode Voucher and 4 people couldn't assist us! One call to Checkers Hyper Brackenfell and Rhusay Eksteen picked up and calmly said we can just ask for her and she'll assist. We got there the Friday evening and within 1 min, Rhusay Eksteen assisted us and we were able to leave the store satisfied with the smile. She was friendly and knew exactly how to deal with the situation. Thank you Rhusay Eksteen and I hope Checkers Hyper Brackenfell recognize this amazing customer service. Regards Happy Customer
I paid R399 upfront a week ago. One week later and still no fibre. I spent money trying to sort it out and still no luck. Your customer service is worse than Telkom! Very unhappy customer
By far, one of the best service we've received. A wonderful lady at Cape Town International Airport, called Monica Mackenzie CSA and extremely helpful gentleman, Vincent LPO, went out of their way to assist us. Our bags were in limbo between countries for 6 days and they gave us assurance that our bags will be found. We were called and messaged and kept up to date for the 2 days since we've met them. They made sure all our questions were answered and we had all the information we needed. From a nightmare of a trip, it is a breath of fresh air to have met and been help by them. Our bags are ready for collection and we will eternally be grateful to them! Thank you
Do not even attempt of seeking help here. Onus is on you when dealership steal from you. Not only is my case not resolved but no one follows up on status of your case unless you constantly ask them.

Wow. The best customer service I've had in my entire life! Jodi Muller is one of the happiest people ever to assist me with insurance and it was an absolute breeze chatting with her. She needs an increase and a bonus and a promotion. Very happy customer!
