I wouldn't recommend them at all, begged for my refund, begged for my paid up letter and they kept giving me a paid up letter that has an account that does not correspond with the bureau has. Begged for them to update my profile on the bureau and till today it has never been update. I settled my account on the 20th of March 2026 with them and today it's the 29 of April 2026 my account isn't updated and they're literally ignoring me
Stay away from this company. Getting a paid up letter is impossible, getting your refund is impossible, getting good service in general. I'd never use this company again ever. I settled my account last month on the 20th of March 2026 and today is the 15th of March all the accounts that I settled the same time with welltec update on the bureau but welltec never updated. I requested a paid up letter and they kept giving me the wrong letter till today.
They just don't care. I placed an order online with them my order wasn't delivered I called them and told them my order was delivered as promised they didn't seem bothered. I requested a refund they just didn't care. Please do yourself a favour and stay away from Edgars
No wonder they have such a low rating. Their service is so terrible and good luck trying to communicate with their *********** consultants especially Claudia. Never use them
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE. I requested assistance with SARS compliance I was given a quote I paid the money then after paying I was told that I must go yo SARS myself since I'm not compliant after I told them I'm not compliant from the beginning. My money was gone just like that. DON'T EVER DEAL WITH THEM
So terrible If I could rate them zero I would. Took loan with them and after settling my account they don't wanna update on the credit bureau, you keep calling and no one is able to assust you. I wouldn't recommend them.
I finished their loan and they still deducted my money. I asked them to update on the credit that the account has been fully paid off they're giving me stories. I wouldn't recommend them.
I opened a policy strictly for my baby since medical aids are super expensive. I was told by a consultant that if I take the cover before the baby is born then the baby would be covered immediately after birth if the baby is born with no complications. The baby was born with no complications then I was told about a waiting period. I asked for my card they told me it takes 31 days but it's been 74 days and no card. I'm so surprised where all these good reviews they have here comes from cause from what I've experienced so far is excuses after excuses. I've learnt my lesson next time I'll rather go for expensive medical aids and get the best service.
Guys Capitec is de*****ing. I have two accounts with them. Whenever I put money on the other account they will access my account without my permission that has money and transfer funds into the other account that does not have funds so that the pay themselves. It shows that Capitec is not a reliable bank they can access your money and move it without your authority. I'm closing this account and I'm never using it ever again.
I opened a new cellphone contract with MTN, guys these people sent me an incorrect contract twice. I told them again the contract is still incorrect they never rep**** or got called me back. They captured the incorrect banking details I made an effort to call them before my debit order to ask them to fix it they said they were offline I asked for their banking details they gave me and I made a payment. Guess what they sent me messages after that saying my line will be disconnected cause I have not paid. I kept calling them the whole week but they keep saying they're online. DON'T EVER USE MTN FOR ANY CONTRACT SUBSCRIPTIONS. WORSE SERVICE EVER.
