Don't take a consolidation loan at credit gateway

Stay away from this company
I wouldn't recommend them at all, begged for my refund, begged for my paid up letter and they kept giving me a paid up letter that has an account that does not correspond with the bureau has. Begged for them to update my profile on the bureau and till today it has never been update. I settled my account on the 20th of March 2026 with them and today it's the 29 of April 2026 my account isn't updated and they're literally ignoring me

Stay away from this company
I wouldn't recommend them at all, begged for my refund, begged for my paid up letter and they kept giving me a paid up letter that has an account that does not correspond with the bureau has. Begged for them to update my profile on the bureau and till today it has never been update. I settled my account on the 20th of March 2026 with them and today it's the 29 of April 2026 my account isn't updated and they're literally ignoring me

No credit bureaus update
I have a loan with this company and have paid every installment on time each month. However, my payment records are not being updated with the credit bureaus. This is negatively affecting my credit score and my payment history, which has not changed at all from June 2025 to April 2026, despite my ongoing payments. To make matters worse, Carla and Siphamandla do not respond to emails, and on the rare occasions they do, they provide inaccurate statements about my outstanding balance. They also issue a letter that does nothing to help improve my credit score, even though they claim it is important when applying for further credit. Dealing with this company has been extremely disappointing, and taking a loan with them has turned out to be one of the worst decisions I’ve ever made.

No credit bureaus update
I have a loan with this company and have paid every installment on time each month. However, my payment records are not being updated with the credit bureaus. Stay away from this company. Getting a paid up letter is impossible, getting your refund is impossible, getting good service in general. I'd never use this company again ever. I settled my account last month on the 20th of March 2026 and today is the 15th of March all the accounts that I settled the same time with welltec update on the bureau but welltec never updated. I requested a paid up letter and they kept giving me the wrong letter till today.

Credit Gateway/Welltec Financial Services destroyed my life
Credit gateway known as Welltec Finance did me so bad, I cannot believe it, I app**** for their assistance to remove me from debt review and consolidate so they can deduct on my persal little did I know... I was assisted by Nozipho later sent me to Lerato who assured me they will settle my debts.... They called em after a month of calls and emails and WhatsApps from credit providers that they declined my application reason was that there was no savings for them to make money, imagine....that was on 9 march 2026 on the 14 march I go to Experian to check progress of my disputes boom I find Welltech finance registered a loan of R62000 on my profile with total outstanding of R117000 on my name, all my debts were only R39000.... When I call them to ask they tell me that I must sent them proof of that... What the heck and few days later around 25 March there it appears on my Clear score account loan of Welltech Finance R62000 here guys be careful of this company, I try to dispute it at Experian and I was told the company says the loan is given to me, but they told me that I was declined, they never settle my debts..... ****** I'm sitting with a problem I want to buy a house.... Im gonna settle my other debts next week once I'm done I'm going to Ombudsman.....

Poor service
reported an incorrect arrears flag on my account to Credit Gateways at the beginning of the month and was promised a resolution. To date, nothing has been done. This has resulted in a missed payment reflecting on my credit report, preventing me from accessing credit and causing financial loss. Multiple follow-ups have been ignored with no feedback. This is unacceptable. If not resolved urgently, I will escalate this matter to my employer and Ombudsman. Lindiwe the supervisor she has promised this will be resolved by today however she's no where to be found instead I am being told she will call me back, unprofessional business contact.

Poor service
reported an incorrect arrears flag on my account to Credit Gateways at the beginning of the month and was promised a resolution. To date, nothing has been done. This has resulted in a missed payment reflecting on my credit report, preventing me from accessing credit and causing financial loss. Multiple follow-ups have been ignored with no feedback.
