This company is very unprofessional with guards chasing after innocent member of the public. This company is not the police, however they feel that they can do what they want. One of the officers even pulled a gun at one of the members in our group. When they found the mistake on their side, they just left no apologies. I hope our member sues them.
My wife and I have been going through a lot with old mutual. This is the second time Old mutual has been taking money from her persal for a *****ulent policy. The first time it was understandable, but a *****ulent policy again. This is plain reckless. We did not make that policy nor did we give old mutual consent do deduct money from my wife's persal. Old Mutual please close the policy effectively immediately and refund the money. Then block us from your system.
I cannot say how disappointed we are with Old Mutual. We literally just canceled a *****ulent policy with Old Mutual and now there's another one taking money of my wife's persal. We would like this policy canceled and money returned.
This company keeps taking R38 from my payslip every month and I can't seem to cancel it. I've tried but it doesn't work. They don't reply
I canceled two policies with Old Mutual and they still took money afterwards. I've been trying to get the refunds without success.
Avbob started a *****ulent policy in my wife's name take huge amounts of money since 2023. We filled in all the documents they asked for but up until now they have not paid anything back. We have tried everything, but once it came to them paying back, they just stopped responding. No updates or anything.
My wife realized that Avbob had been taking money off her payslip for months. We then went to Avbob to check who made the policy. Turns out it was a *****ulent policy. The manager at the East London branch then promised to close the policy and that it wouldn't take any more money. We left it at that. Months passed but the policy keeps taking money. We went to the police and opened a case. The Warren officer told us that avbob will do their own investigation and then refund our money. We went back to the branch and filled in forms there and promises were made. 3 weeks later and we still have to heard anything back. No acknowledgement of an investigation or anything. At the moment we can't trust Avbob, policies were made without any consent and Avbob doesn't seem to be worried about that. What about the POPI act? Identity *****? Knowingly contuing a *****ulent policy.
Everything goes well until they send you the wrong products or fall short. Then they are not very helpful.
My uncapped LTE from Telkom was just cut off.
They make it so hard to withdraw large amounts of cash. One can't withdraw in the bank and the limit is only 10 000
