This untrustworthy company advertises items on Takealot but can not commit to their promises to supply on items ordered through Takealot.
I ordered and paid for an item indicated that it will be shipped within 3-5 working dayss. The item ordered was intended as a gift. Then Takealot cancelled my order due to their supplier not being able to supply but they still advertise the item. Never trust Takealot's suppliers and rather order an item indicated as being in stock. I know it's bad supply chain management but I will never order from Takealot again.
Do not expect any delivery of your item. Mine got stuck in their George Hub and it seems it will never get out of there to be delivered to me in Mossel Bay
Jix Hobbies is the best in their range of products, prompt and efficient service, accuracy of the items they do have in stock, speedy shipping and even keeping you up to date on your shipment progress in real time. They are just the best for the hobby enthusiast. Their web site is amazing.
Do not trust their estimated shipping dates. There are extreme delays on their shipments that is if they ever do ship your order.
I ordered an item more than a week ago and status remains at "stock on order" even today and their so called expected shipment dates are laughable as my order's expected shipment date is tomorrow but the order is still on a status of "stock on order" today. I sent them emails with no reply yet which shows they know that they are at fault and do not know how to reply to me. Please do not use Loot rather use other trustworthy online retailers such as Takealot.
UPS is contracting Globeflight - DSV. Since then there is a serious backlog in their deliveries due to a so called integration problem and I quote a section of an email received from UPS: "Kindly be advised that the shipment was handed over to our contractor on Friday, however it is delayed in the DSV warehouse due to them integrating their systems (from Globeflight – DSV). They now have a backlog of shipments for dispatch." I received a notification that my UPS shipment will be delivered on Tuesday 22 March 2022. Nothing happened, no delivery, no notice, no nothing. To conclude stay away from UPS and Globeflight-DSV rather use another shipment company that has a good review.
This now the second time my parcel has been in the UPS Kempton Park warehouse for more than 5 days. I sent numerous emails inquiring on the status of customs clearance and when my parcel will be shipped to my delivery address. I get absolutely no response on my emails and reading other reviews I am not even going to try and call them. UPS does not come near their competitors they are slow and useless.
My Discovery Invest Living Annuity has an annual income review date of 09 June. Normally I receive an annual review letter from Discovery Invest 3 months ahead of the anniversary date so that I can review my annual income. Today is 11 March 2022 and the next anniversary date is 09 June 2022. I have not received any correspondence from Discovery Invest yet. I sent numerous emails to query the matter with no response. It is utmost important to me to do the annual review before the next anniversary date. I am now very concerned about their administration that is not up to date.
I am awaiting delivery of a parcel from UPS South Africa. Yesterday I received an email from UPS stating that my parcel will be delivered today. When I checked the tracking status of my parcel on their site it indicated that is still at their warehouse in Kempton Park, Gauteng and has not been released for delivery yet. I have no idea how UPS is going to ship from Gauteng to the Western Cape province where I stay to take receipt of the parcel in one day. Thus the email they sent me is a blatant lie.
