I am very angry for the 2nd time now. I went to cClearwater to exchange something and they won't let me as I don't have the slip although I do have the swingtag. I don't know if they think there is another @fake@ MRP. WHEN i left I was asked to show my slip repeatedly and I had to raise my voice eventually saying that I don't have it because I was trying for a refund or exchange and they would NOT HELP. I find it disgusting because other retailers allow you to return stuff even in Covid. They just quarantine it for a few days and then put it back out for sale and since we are talking chain stores, they usually have a lot of stock. The previous time was at Cresta and I was not allowed to leave the store, got into trouble for not showing or telling security on walking in and basically was accused of stealing the stuff I was trying to return. They also went and checked all the cameras. I AM NO THIEF AND I DO NOT APPRECIATE BEING TREATED LIKE ONE. It is DISGUSTING. iF YOU HAVE A SWING TAG YOU SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO RETURN/EXCHANGE EVEN IN COVID TIMES
I chose to hire them for my temporary drivers license and license disc due to an urgency issue. It was very costly but it did pay off. The license disc was delayed a few days but I don't know why but I don't think it was their fault. It is much quicker and more efficient and convenient so you do get what you pay for. They were understanding and supportive and never got annoyed with me pestering them. The review is 4 stars due to the delay. I definitely recommend them!!
I fell behind on payments circa change of guard from 2019/2020 or thereabouts. Jut before lockdown I panicked and tried to reach them to resolve. My bank also closed my bank account at some point so I was not able to pay them as a beneficiary anymore as I was at least willing to try make some payments even though I was in so much trouble with money/unemployment etc and its only gotten worse. I was attempted to be sued for the gazillionth time, not my fault, I was also evicted under hard lockdown and lost a substantial amount of my possessions (not worth much but everything to me but it was my home and my son's to visit. NOBODY actually cares as long as they get the funds they are claiming EVEN if they state otherwise and that happened with STD too and none of it was my fault. I tried since then via branches/store/email and every possible means a human could try to make some kind of contact and payment to no avail. Now I am being harrased 24/7/365 and hounded for the money. Worse, they say it is my fault that they have never bothered to respond and also that they are no longer IRL business so I cannot pay at FNB. i can assure you I tried that too, many times. I have explained and made a tentative sarrangement for when I do have funds. However, they insist on calling 60x per day and claim its their right. I then have to explain the whole story in detail over and over EVERY time. They just say that's how it is, not THEIR problem. I have said I wlll pay as soon as I can. Surprise surpise I cannot reach them to get bank details....but apparently I am the one who ignores communication (which I do now as I have had more than I can take already so phone calls now go unanswered and will remain so until I receive a new account with actual information that i can ACTUALLY use to pay in part or in full. How IRONIC is that?
i keep cancelling my expired contract in favour of prepaid but they keep telling me its cancelled when it iis NOT. Furthermore, they keep billing me for an outstanding R345 I have already paid. Now my USSD is not working and I cannot check my balance to find out if its an airtime issue. I cannot purchase airtime either from phone or laptop. They used to give good service in the good old days..135 either does nothing or cannot get the right department
Yes, they get worse every time and never bother to reply in public or private. They obviously have too much money to care. Funny how they can't do enough to get hold of me all the time to claim the money I DON'T owe them and had me handed over to lawyers who confirmed that many others had the same experience with beiing legally threateened even though they are in good standing. That's very sensible!!
Always used to be happy with standard bank as I banked with them since age 12 and now nearly 50. Apart from the daylight robbery from the fees you have to pay. the more problems you hvee, the more problems and obstacles they create for you and the more you try to get help, the more they ignore you or tell you it syour own fault or you must fix it or you don't have a choice in xy or z
I have cancelled my contract several weeks ago in July or August and paid any outstanding amounts at one of their West Rand stores. I was very clear that I wished to switch and be only on Pay As You Go. I then bought some airtime. Lo and behold I am now cut off for non-pament. Is there any business in this country that knows what they are oing or even cares. If I call customer service I am told that Its not paid and not cancelled I am not a millionair and I don't know how many times I must pay the same amounts over and over for their mistakes and even get handed over. It is the most bizarre thing..Luckily I emigrate soon... The service in this country really SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!
WESTGATE - They were so sweet and kind and understanding and so efficient. I really appreciated it and felt validated.
Totally disinterested and offer no customer service whatsoever. Moreover they are totally incompetent. I have been handed over to a lawyer for an overdue and was told many others were in the same position by the attorneys themseles. Now I have received a bill for the overdue amount *-(which is not overdue) and the next month's charges together, go figure!!!
I am besieged on a daily basis with constant phone calls and threatening text messages regarding the handover of my account which is up to date and a payment is only due on 31 August 2021. for the normal monthly subscription fee. This has been going on for many weeks now and I am reliably informed by the person on the other end o the phone that many others she has contacted, have reported the exact same problem as I am having. I have tried to contact them for well over a year now to advise that my account was closed by my bank and therefore could not continue with the debit order but that I always pay at PNP and I am almost never late with my payments. I have also spent weeks trying to cancel a landline, even online is a monumental failure. Now they are demanding money for that too....The only thing they are even vaguely competent at is asking for money!!! Go figure!!
