It is one of the WORST experiences trying to advertise on Gumtree. Your ads are constantly removed for "too little info" and, "posted in job category" where this is not the case! Also, you removed my paid ad two weeks ago - I had no navigation as to where to edit it, it's simply gone after removal. I emailed you, and you rep**** and told me where I went wrong - yet, still no navigation where I can edit it. I have posted ads on Friday - they were accepted. I tried again, Saturday, Sunday, Today - all removed. You continue saying it's too little info for the Job section - it is NOT in the job section, it is in the Businesses section. Your support is extremely slow - my query about my refund on my paid ad, is already I think about going onto 2 weeks? Can one ever post anything but secondhand stuff on Gumtree? This is becoming a joke!
I went into the store for a new contract - I have an existing one. Was told I need to send the an SAFPS as apparently the credit buro flagged me for fraud. There I was ... in my full capacity as human being with ID, proof of address, the works. But the SAFPS was to give this letter no matter what. They were of course closed on Saturday. On Monday I got the letter (silliest thing ever it could have been anyone on the phone asking for it). Phone MTN, got dropped, lost airtime - same with the SAFPS, all airtime lost - afterwards emailed the letter as per the consultant's instruction. Waited, waited. Eventually I went to the MTN store. Waited ... three people came back from their lunch break or tea break who knows at 3 pm - and was then told they're offline. I must come back. I explained that I especially came in to them, not other shops, and that it is out of my way. Well, it's not their problem. It's a day later. Have heard nothing back on any of my emails sent directly to the different two consultants that I emailed the letter to, so am still sitting like a duck. Here's the thing. If this had been a private institute or shop, someone would have taken my number (easily uplookable with my reference in that letter) and phoned me back - as my business would have mattered. We're nothing. We're the next sucker walking in, giving business to a business who feels that in counterpart with their rivals, they own a monopoly. We're the ones who perhaps need phones, lines - and honestly have nowhere else to go as every cell phone company is just as bad out there. Once you have a contract, you can't complain about a phone and you have to abide with it for three years, no matter the bad service, the bad attitudes we're given. So enjoy your monopoly while it lasts. Enjoy your easy pay each month - much different to the rest of us who actually work very hard and go out of our way to please clients. This goes for each and every corporate company out there, who cannot think further to what the least is they can do, to do the least work, to still get paid. It is ridiculous.

All corporate companies are beyond useless. Their staff aren't trained - if this had been a private institute or shop, someone would have taken my number (easily uplookable with my reference in that letter) and phoned me back - as my business would have mattered. If I could select no stars - I would. It seems that irregular deposit payouts are processed by the company. No statement accompanies it. When you eventually threaten, a breakdown is sent. This is where my problem came in. According to Permanent Trust's let's cal her "M", our payout is: *** start copy *** • Deposit Amount - R12 550.00 • + Interest - R 35.86 • TOTAL DEPOSIT - R12 585.86 Less Damages - (R3 850.00) Please contact "G" on *** / g@permanenttrust.com TOTAL DEPOSIT REFUNDED : R 8 735.86 *** end copy *** This is what we paid: *** start copy *** We paid: R14755 on 27 October 2017. We were quoted: • Lease fee: R570 • Home owner association levy: R185 (we’re not the owners but we paid it) • Inspection fee: R200 • ITC check, incl VAT at 14%: R200 • Remote deposit: R250 (refundable) • Deposit: R13350 (refundable) Additionaly we paid the R450 deposit increase this year. Please take note that we NEVER received any remotes, but we paid the deposit. Please compare this with your amount and let us know where the difference is, so that we can understand. We would like to know about the interest of R35.86 – was this on the amount you quoted below, or on the actual amount we paid displayed as R13350 + R450 in the attached “Schedule of Cost.doc” and “Notification of increase.docx” documents? *** end copy *** We contact both "M" and "G" numerous times - my husband spoke to "G" who on checkout inspection when we left said there were no damages, pointed out that they deducted the "damages" to paint the unit - and that he would speak to "M" about where the balance of the payout is. No reply. Nothing. My question to the very silent owner of the Blanc de Noir units would be - are you aware that money is being withheld without explanation? If you're wondering why so many units are standing empty - like ours which up until now have received no paint - do you know that it is not being managed properly? Because, even when you take the money off for paint - and add the ridiculous amount of R35 earned over 2.5 years on interest seems very strange but ... what about the difference between what we actually paid in, and was paid out? Somebody there isn't very honest. My next step is the law, as I already know that I have a case - but hopefully future tenants can be made aware of this strange setup and ways of things being deducted and that they too - as many before us (that I've read about) - may fall prey to this.
We've just made use of Leopard Movers services, for the second time. Once again, we're extremely satisfied - from accommodating our list, giving us an excellent quote, to fetching our difficult load and delivering it to the new address. Pardon the pun ... but these guys move! They took such care with my furniture. Always friendly, always smile, always doing their very best. We'll use them again and have already suggested them to friends. Thanks Leopard Movers, we think that you're the best!
