On 13 March The Holiday Club accepts and confirms a booking. On 19 March I receive an email, not a phone call to tell me in person, an email, to say the booking has been cancelled. How is that for customer service. The Holiday Club has zero respect for its members and has zero regard for customer service. Who wants to buy my points? I think it is time to leave this *********** company. They are also ignoring my FB Messenger message. No response from them on email as well
TAKEALOT is a ****ming ******** company. They **** customers in buying something, they deliver the wrong product, it is returned, then suddenly it is not in stock anymore and one is credited. They have no integrity, values or decency. This is not the first time this has happened. They have NO respect for their so called customers. They do just wat they want because they get away with it. I will never buy from Takelot again and I will make it my mission to tell everybody fir as long as I live to not buy from these ********s again.
I submitted a claim on 20 Nov 2024 on the Discovery website. I uploaded all the documents. By 2 Dec 2024, there had been no feedback. When I search on the website, the claim is not listed. I was not contacted by phone or email. I received a claim number. On 2 Dec 2024, I sent the documents to the claims email and received a claim number. In 3 Dec 2024, neither of my claims is visible to me on the claims search functionality. Around 2 years ago Discovery endeavoured to fix their system to show all claims, be it approved or rejected. They did not do what they committed to do. How must members know what the status of claims are if claims seem to disappear from the system or is not searchable?
They keep phoning me, looking for someone. I keep telling them that I've had this number for over 25 years and the person they are looking for, is not at this number. I told them that 3x that I am going to open a case of harassment against them. I've had enough of their incompetence. I am on my way to the Police to open that harassment case against them.
I asked for something to be transported, I received a quote, I paid and they said that they will contact me a few days ahead of collection. Never heard from them again. A week before the item was supposed to be at the destination, I said that I am worried that it will not be collected and delivered in time. After days they replied and said that the courier will collect it. I never heard from them again. They ignore my emails, they refuse to pay my money back. I had to make a plan and transport it myself. It is theft and corruption to take money from customers but not deliver on their commitment.
On the morning of the 13th of June a water pipe burst in the ceiling of my home. I logged a claim that same morning. It is the 22nd today and Discovery Insure is very quiet and their contractors still have not arrived to repair the pipe. 9 days without water in the house and counting. Cannot call the call center, the calls are not answered. Twitter drew initial response, but nothing after that. The manager who was going to phone me back still have not phoned me back. The service provided by Discovery Insure and their contractors is disgusting.
