On 06 August 2025, I used a surprise monetary gift from a friend to finally replace my old bed , one I’d owned for over eight years after buying it for R4,500. This time, I wanted to invest in better sleep and comfort, so I chose a Cloud Nine foam bed. I thought I was upgrading. Turns out, I was wrong. Barely two months later, on 14 October 2025, I was jolted awake by a loud pop. One of the bed’s legs had snapped. At first, I assumed maybe it hadn’t been assembled properly, but when I turned it over, I saw the leg was completely broken. It didn’t make sense, Cloud Nine was supposed to be a top-tier brand. Something in me had wanted to stick with the brands I grew up trusting, but I decided to give this one a chance. Big mistake. This morning, I went back to Sleepmaster Rustenburg (Waterfall Mall) with my receipt to report the fault. The staff weren’t even surprised. Apparently, they deal with broken legs from this brand almost every week, they’re even running out of replacements. They called the Cloud Nine rep, who didn’t seem bothered at all, which says a lot. I’m not in a position to easily spend R7,000 cash on a bed, but this was supposed to be a worthwhile investment in my rest and wellbeing. Instead, I’m left disappointed and frustrated. At this rate, it looks like I’ll be back every few months for another leg replacement. Definitely not the quality or service I expected from Cloud Nine.
Just traveled internationally and discovered that, as a Discovery Bank client, I get a complimentary voucher for the Discovery Lounge, what a treat! The whole process, from redeeming the voucher to stepping inside, was completely seamless. The lounge itself? Clean, stunning, and so comfortable, it immediately felt welcoming. Disappointing Experience with BP Rewards Card I recently signed up for the BP Rewards Card at the Waterval East Rustenburg garage, but unfortunately, it's been a frustrating experience. The program's numerous unreasonable terms and conditions render it nearly useless. Key issues include: - Inability to use the card for in-store purchases - Limited redemption options, requiring a visit to Pick n Pay Express - Frequent technical issues with BP card machines ("offline" errors) It seems BP blindly followed industry trends without considering customer needs. I urge them to reassess and revamp this initiative. Rating: 1/5 stars Recommendation: Improve rewards program flexibility, address technical issues, and prioritize customer convenience.

Despite ordering online for collection, it took an unacceptable 45 minutes for my order to be ready. But that was only the beginning - when I finally received my order, the food was cold and half-cooked. This is not the first time I've encountered such poor service from this franchise, and it's clear that there's a disconnect between the employees and the restaurant's standards. The lack of passion and attention to detail is alarming. For a fast-food chain, speed and quality are crucial. Fishaways Magalies View failed to deliver on both counts. Hi, my name is Thando, I’m currently based in Manhattan Lofts Rental Apartments. I have been with Central Developments as a tenant for 3 years now. I started at Route 82, then East on 82 and now Manhattan Lofts. Renting with this company as a single parent has been stress free, the security is on the ball, the maintenance team is always available to assist in incidences I cannot resolve by myself. However I’ve had my hiccups with the customer service given, hence the consistent moving but I have finally found a bit of peace at Manhattan Lofts mainly because of a guy by the name of Peter from the maintenance office. The first time I experienced his service, I thought it would be a once-off, probably one of those lucky days, but for some reason I kept on having small issues with my unit that required their attention, I was even scared that they will be tired of me but Peter went out of his way to assist to an extent where he did the maintenance work himself if his team was busy which was not really his function. The aim was to leave at the end of my lease this year but never have I been so eager to extend it only because of the support, and consistent service from this one particular guy. We are so quick to report something bad, but I thought I would take the time to write about the good that we rarely experience. Thank you Peter for an amazing service, you are definitely an asset to Central Developments. From a happy and appreciative client.
I was mislead into thinking that my order will be shipped quicker than the 7-15 days on their website because they had confirmed that my item is currently on stock and should be delivered sooner than usual. When I got my order confirmation, I then discovered that what was promised was not the case, I then immediately cancelled my order and requested for a refund, this was on the 26th June 2020. I then got an email a day later requesting for my bank details which i immediately provided and never heard anything from the company again. I then followed up today 06/07/2020 on their webchat on how far my refund was and was told that they could not track it and had to provide my details again and told to wait another 7-15 working days starting from today. I will not accept this and require my refund ASAP!
