Purchased Undercooked Chicken from Woolworths Verwoerdpark – Resulted in Food Poisoning I am extremely disappointed with the quality and food safety standards at Woolworths. On 27 April 2026, late afternoon, I purchased a ready-to-eat chicken from the Verwoerdpark Alberton branch. At approximately 19:00 that evening, I cut the chicken open to reheat it in the microwave and immediately noticed that it was not fully cooked, with visible blood still present. As my wife is currently ill with flu and in bed, I assumed reheating it further would make it safe to eat. Unfortunately, this was a serious mistake, and I have since developed food poisoning symptoms. This is a serious health concern. Undercooked poultry poses a real risk, and this product should never have been placed on the shelf in that condition. I find this completely unacceptable, especially from a brand that positions itself as a premium food retailer. Thankfully, my wife did not eat any of the chicken. I would like: A full investigation into this incident An explanation of how this passed quality control Appropriate compensation for the illness and distress caused I trust Woolworths will treat this matter with urgency and ensure stricter food safety measures going forward. Pathetic technical service—the worst I have ever experienced in my life. It seems this is what one can expect from a company that responds to all complaints with a generic copy-and-paste reply.
"I have been struggling to verify my Luno account because the process is extremely unreliable. After several attempts, I finally received the OTP (One-Time Password). However, navigating to the verification tab took multiple attempts, and once I got there, I was greeted with a 'process interrupted' message. This has happened multiple times. Today was just one of many failed attempts; on at least 10 other occasions, the verification process has been unsuccessful. Even trying to contact Luno through their other channels has been a challenge, and for me, it has always been unsuccessful. It’s no surprise that nearly 50% of Luno's reviews are 1-star. This level of service is unacceptable."

2 September 2024 I walked into the new store in New Market Mall in Alberton. I see a bar fridge and the price is R2100.00. I took some measerment and told the sales lady I will be back soon, as I need to see if the bar fridge will fit. Satisfied it will fit, I return to do the purchase. All of a sudden I was informed that the price now is R2900.00 LOL Stax will never see me again.

LOL all the complaints have the same automated responds. My complaint is basically the same no payment on cover and no responds. I thinks it is time to use my Holland Policy money and start a paid Facebook campaign on the how bad hollard actualy is.
