A big THANK YOU to an incredible team!
Back in 2020, I made one of the most important decisions of my life to begin the process of applying for residency in South Africa. Along the way, I chose to work with Intergate Immigration in Cape Town as my trusted partner for both Temporary Residence Permits (TRP) and eventually, my Permanent Residence Permit (PRP). Today, I am proud and incredibly grateful to say that this journey has officially come to an end—with my permanent residency approved and in hand. Disappointed by Misleading Promotion and Failed Payment System
I recently tried several times to take advantage of Incredible Connection’s advertised R2000 discount on a MacBook Air. After going through the entire online purchase process—including bank approval and OTP verification—I was shocked to receive a "payment unsuccessful" message at the very end. Let me be clear: my online banking limit is well within range, and there were more than enough funds available. The issue is clearly not on my bank’s side. It’s incredibly frustrating (pun intended) to go through a lengthy process, only for the payment to fail for no valid reason. What's the point of promoting discounts and pushing customers to buy online if your system can’t process the payment properly? I feel misled and let down. I hope Incredible Connection addresses these glitches and stops advertising deals they can’t seem to deliver on.

Do not use Aramax Courier "Service"
This is by far the worst courier service I have ever seen. The tracking mentioned "Delivered" but it has not. Impossible to contact them. No phone number on the website. There is a "live chat" promising to connect with an agent. That never happened. I found a phone number somewhere on the web. In the cue for 30 minutes. No contact at all.

SAA Customer Service is useless
In May 2023 I contacted SAA Customer Service (saacustomerservice@flysaa.com) about a possible refund for a missed flight due to a huge delay on an earlier flight. They gave me a case number and they asked several times for the ticket invoices. Now it is August, they do not reply anymore. Worst customer service I ever used.

Vodacom sells data for a recycled sim card
I use a Vodacom sim card in my Huawei MiFi router. I didn't use the device for a longer period. Then I needed it again. I bought data for the sim card using Vodapay. Buying data is very easy. The router kept telling me "no service" I checked the sim card in a cellphone. No signal. The sim card had been recycled. How is it possible that Vodacom sells data for a recycled sim card? When chatting with them on Facebook the answer was: "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused" Isn't that too easy? How often does this happen? How much money does Vodacom steal with these dodgy transactions? Is it within the law to sell data for non-excisiting sim cards? I do not think so, but huge companies like Vodacom do as they please and the customer means nothing to them! I just call it THEFT!!!!!!

An excellent agent!
When moving from The Netherlands to South Africa I visited the Embassy in The Hague a couple of times, trying to apply for a temporary residence. The people at the Embassy were not helpful at all. I searched for help and found Intergate Immigration. The response I received from both Vincent and Rosemary was excellent so I decided to hire them. The documents for the temporary Resident permit I applied for went through Quality Control at Intergate and this made the application at VSB global easy and smoothly. Then Covid 19 came. No PR application is possible for 2 years. Beginning of January Rosemary helped me again with new documents as the old ones were not valid anymore. I lodged more or less 30 documents and the PR application, again, went very well. I am sure that without the help of this professional group of people I would never have made it. Now we just need to wait for the PR.... 2 - 4 years! Thank you Intergate! For the readers of this review, I know the service costs money but in the end, you will be happy you did spend it! Intergate Immigration does an excellent job!

Allianz Verzekeringen betaald liever niet
ING biedt voor hun Platina Credit Card een aankoopverzekering waarvan gebruik gemaakt kan worden bij verlies of diefstal. Ten eerste is het benodigde formulier niet te vinden. Dat wordt bewust ingewikkeld gemaakt. Uiteindelijk via ING ontvangen. Alles ingevuld; alle documenten bijgeleverd maar na een aantal weken werd de claim afgewezen want een politieaangifte ontbrak en er was geen bewijs dat de credit card was gebruikt. Vreemd want die documenten waren keurig aangeleverd. Ik meen dan dat Allianz er alles aan zal doen om claims af te wijzen dus die hele aankoop verzkering is grote onzin

Payment was successful. Purchase was unsuccessful. They stated to get in contact within 15 minutes. That did not happen. The contact button didn't work on the website causing a JavaScript error. Looks like a scam. I would not recommend this company

A psychologist who really cares!
I recently had my first visit with Carien and it was a delight. She immediately made me feel very comfortable and it felt as if she had been my caregiver for years. I am very happy to have found a psychologist that I feel I can trust and connect with. A Great practice, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. Highly recommended. Carien lives in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa.

Absa Daylight Robbery
I transferred 10.000 rand from my Dutch bank account using Transferwise. The fee Absa charges is 1.199 rand = 12% of the transaction. This is daylight robbery, unacceptable and insane. I will remove all my funds from this criminal organisation. Disgusting!
