I am very disappointed in Mr Price for not having done anything yet about these complaints. I placed my orders on 29 April 2026 (Order: 201014403959) and another one on 30 April 2026 (Order: 201014401199). I received my first order on 7 May 2026 at the store in Belhar and when I got home I noticed the dress was damp/wet. It also had a very weird smell. Unfortunately I had an event the Saturday and needed the dress so I had to wash the dress. The tag on the dress was also damaged due to it being wet. Last week I started calling Mr Price about the other order which I didn't receive and they were trying to investigate what happened to the delivery. I again called the Friday and were told they have not yet figured out where it is but they are in communication with the courier company. Today, 18 May 2026 I called to cancel the order and were told it was at the store for collection. I went to Belhar store and opened the package at the store and found the same issue, the items were wet and the consultant and some other staff also noticed it and there was an off smell to the items. I immediately returned the items and the store manager called head office who requested photos of the damaged items. I am not sure how you take photos of items that is damp/wet and has a smell. I honestly hope Mr Price will look into these complaints as it is unacceptable.
I purchased the TurboWind 18-inch Standing Fan on 13 February 2026 and received it on 23 February 2026. Due to my schedule, I only had time to unbox it on 13 March 2026. From the start, this product has been a disappointment. There was no instruction manual included in the box. I reached out via WhatsApp and, after waiting without feedback, eventually received piecemeal instructions through chat messages. Even with those, I struggled to assemble the fan and had to ask my neighbor for assistance to finally get the parts hooked together. Once assembled, the performance was extremely poor. On the highest setting (3), the fan produces noise without airflow—you can barely feel any breeze. The only positive thing I can say is that the fan looks nice aesthetically, but it completely fails at its basic purpose: keeping you cool. This has been a frustrating and disappointing purchase. I would strongly caution others not to buy this item, as it does not deliver on its promises and the lack of proper instructions only adds to the frustration.
We enjoyed a luxurious two‑day stay at The Shark Bay Villa in November 2025, which we won as a getaway. The villa itself was beautiful, spacious, and very romantic — perfect for couples as well as families with kids. The staff were warm and friendly, and the included morning cleaning service was a thoughtful touch. Its location is excellent, with the beach and shopping centres close by, making it convenient and relaxing. One challenge we faced was the unexpected fee we had to pay beforehand, which differed from what the agent had explained. To improve the booking process, it would help if all terms discussed with agents were clearly documented, since you don’t deal with the same person when making the booking. It should also be made clear that this specific deal/voucher covers only the house/apartment, with no extra amenities included — those come at your own cost. Knowing this upfront would allow guests to budget better. Overall, Shark Bay Villa is a stunning and romantic destination, and despite the hiccup, we would definitely return — this time better prepared.
WWAS is the worst insurance company I've every dealt with. I purchased my cellphone via Telkom in St George's Building, 12 Adderley Street, Cape Town. I've never had any issues with the service of the store until my recent encounter. I booked my cellphone via the store on 6 May 2024. I called every week for feedback as nobody every called me and I was constantly dismissed with "they claim is being attended to". After several calls finally 11 June 2024 I called and I was given the access fee of R500 which I paid immediately. I also called back after sending the PoP as requested and it was confirmed they received the PoP. On Thursday, 13 June 2024 I called and was told the technician is busy with my phone. On Friday, 14 June 2024 I called and was told the technician is busy with my phone. On Tuesday, 18 June 2024 (today) I called and was told the technician is busy with my phone. I asked the consultant to please give me an exact date as to when I can expect to receive my phone and he was going to call me back after following up. I'm still waiting for feedback. I will never recommend WWAS to anyone. I wish I could have rated them less.
I've lodged 2 complaints and yet no reply from any agent. If this is the type of service I am going to receive from Rain I don't want any dealings. To top it all off I've been having problems connecting and I'm not even sharing my router with anyone. They just issue tickets and nothing happens and the only way to contact them is via the Support. I thought Telkom was bad but this....Worst service ever.
