They try to sell you cars that you can’t see. In this case they told me to come buy the car tomorrow. Later they call to say there is another buyer so I must pay a holdings deposit. 30% of purchase price. The guy gives you a 087 number to call (the person is literally sitting with him), they make it seem like a dealership. Derick Roodt Motors in Klerksdorp is not operational anymore. Beware. Never buy a car that you haven’t seen.

Netstar says you pay a contract for the device and services for 3 years. Now after 3 years you are no longer paying for the device, only the services so why is it that the premium still stays the same? It doesn't make sense. They refuse to reduce the premium which really doesn't make sense to me.
Why is it so hard to cancel your contract on Vodacom? Can someone just cancel my contract please.
I wish I read the reviews before signing the lease :( I had a horrible experience. After you signed the lease they don’t care about you anymore. Communication is poor and misleading. They say something then change later to something else (even when you show them written proof of what they said). When the pandemic started, I got a salary cut I told Huizemark and they asked if I could pay half I agreed. I paid half rental for 2 months and on the 3rd month I informed them that my salary is back on track and so I will pay the full rental, they were happy. After a month, they told me that I’m owing for the 2 months I’ve been paying half. We never agreed that it’s a loan. Anyway fast forward, I told them I’m moving out and they want me to pay for those 2 months. I told them to use my deposit to cover it but they don’t want and that for me is strange.
My sister moved into the sharing premises in 2017. In 2018, she moved to a different room where she shared with 2 other girls. She claims that all of them were too excited that they just ticked off the inspection list. However, every time inspection was made, they would verbally declare all the defects of the place as they discover them. Most contracts actually give tenants 2 weeks to actually jot down all defects as they know you won’t be able to see all the defects the first time you move in. One of the defects was the common room couch was had a cigarette hole in it. None of the 3 girls smokes. At the end of 2018, one of the girls moved out and she received her full deposit. In 2019, the 2 remaining girls (with the same name) continued to stay in their rooms. At the end of 2019 when my sister decided to move out to be closer to her medical campus, she was then charged an exorbitant amount which included the burned cigarette hole couch as well as a missing dustin. The dustbin was taken by one of the cleaners to which the girls reported the matter at the office. The last remaining girl was not charged anything and is still staying in the room. It seems my sister was charged for all the defects including the burned couch was they declared a long time ago. I got a refund of R40 from R4190. I thought this was a mistake so I sent an email to inform them (Lebogang Seeletse) and they said that was the correct amount. I later called her to explain and she seemed like she understood and promised to pay the full refund. She didn’t. I decided to visit the office with my sister and the other girl who is currently staying there as a witness to everything. They explained the story, Lebogang Seeletse again understood and said she will pay the refund but till today I haven’t received anything. I approached my lawyers who sent them letters of demand but they simply just ignore everything. I’m now going to go the small claims court route, wish me luck.
I wish I read the reviews before using Huizemark. It is indeed horrible. Misleading communication, lack of interest after signing the lease, throw threats left right and center. I regret!
Horrible to say the least. I bought a cellphone for my little brother for his birthday a good week in advance. On the day, he never received his phone. I kept calling and emailing and after a month of waiting and looking like a lair. I cancelled my order which took another 2 weeks for them to cancel. I’m current waiting for my refund and it’s been another 2 weeks waiting. I don’t understand what’s so difficult, either deliver the goods or give us back our money it’s that simple. Personally I would not recommend it!
