Great service at 11pm in the evening, good to know there is quick response when you need it all hours of the day. Very friendly and patient as well.
This is the worst platform out there, there is no way to get a hold of anyone if something goes wrong, you better hope and pray you stuff arrives. I ordered an expensive item, waiting the whole day for delivery, now suddenly the system shows I signed for it and nothing. Have spoken to my complex security no was at the gate the whole day, so this is how they ***** your stuff and you have no way of finding it. I have immediately tried to call Takealot on all the **** numbers online to talk to a human and sort it out but all three number listed are offline even thou I am calling within the allocated timeframe on their website and Facebook page. So basically this all feels like a ****.-
With the utmost frustration I post this review to WARN PEOPLE to please please stay as far away from Cell C as possible. You can ask for recordings of calls, you can tipple check information with the call Centre agents over the phone and still THEY WILL MANAGE TO MESS UP EVERTHING ON YOUR ACCOUNT, time and time again. I was contacted by an agent who said that I have to renew my contract otherwise the system will disconnect me, I spoke to him and agreed to the renewal but warned him that my only condition is that the monthly amount of R599.00 needs to remain the same, I even said if they need to reduce the minutes and data on my bundle they can do so but I DO NOT WANT TO PAY MORE. He rep**** that is it is no problem and that he has noted this and assured me several times the amount will not increase. On 1st of September the amount has gone up to R869.96 I understand contracts done over the phone are binding but this does negate the fact that I clearly and emphatically warned them not to increase the amount and Cell C agreed… instead just a subtle SMS to confirm the amount has been deducted.
What an utter failure of any form of client service or any common sense. Not only have I had this exact experience before during 2019-2020 but this time around it seems even worse than before. Cell C has managed to: 1. Not assign the correct benefits at the beginning of Aug 2021. 2. Not been able to allocate funds correctly after I made an additional unnecessary payment for which the money has now disappeared. 3. Not been able to explain their own products clearly after I asked numerous times and trying to charge extra for a service which other agents said would be a “quick free process”. 4. Not been able to correctly cancel the wrong product which they are now suddenly discontinuing on my profile. 5. And the worst of all after I specifically asked to retain my number which I got from them many years ago they have NOT FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS AND DELETED MY NUMBER!! They have managed to do all this damage in a space of 2 excruciating weeks during which I am unable to use my number to do any business and make any calls. This has been a disaster to say the least, and don't think if you talk to any "Manager" or "Senior" person you will be helped. I have followed all the procedures, escalated the matters multiple times, been patient beyond what any client should ever endure and still there is absolutely no resolution. PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM ANYTHING WITH A CELL C LOGO ON.

After 11 months of constant calling, wasted work hours of telephone arguments, lost business revenue due to my phone being cut several times, and down right fraud on the part of Cell C since they changed my subscription without my consent... the issue is still NOT resolved. Who is going to reimburse me for all the lost revenue especially in this COVID pandemic where every phone call is crucial to functioning and earning a living for my family. Cell C is the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with and has not desire to resolve a simple problem.
