********** is an understatement when discussing Makro's customer support for online purchases. Their lack of support is unfathomable. It's been over 2 months and my issue is not resolved. The Makro online team would rather blame their third-party vendors and courier services, Value Express, rather than take ownership of the issue and try to resolve it. We had to phone Value Express, who might I add, handled their part very well, courteously, and professionally. Even though they did not have anything on record at first because Makro failed to inform them of the collection even though they said they did. Makro keeps blaming the third-party vendor for the issues we have even though we purchased from the Makro Online Store. Save yourself the time and trouble You are much better off purchasing from another store. REF: MAK8326149. It is a simple fix. Collect the item, refund us, or replace the item with the actual item I ordered, and you deal with your third-party supplier. (Quite Simple) Makro also needs to take a look at your online management team. If an issue takes this long to be resolved, why are they there?
The problem I find with most stores is lack of consistency. I had no issue prior to this and it took one awful experience, unwillingness to assist me in resolving the issue, and lack the of communication to deter me from purchasing on their Makro online platform. I purchased a product online and the product that was delivered was not the one I ordered. My first thought was to go online to process the return. I was unable to so so as this field was grayed out. I was then referred to their WhatsApp which is completely and utterly useless because here I was faced with automated responses which didn't work properly. I then proceeded to call in and was told a manager would return my call. I've yet to receive this call and it's a couple of days later. The initial order was placed 28 November. The delivery of this product was already very poorly communicated and done. It's frustrating that when I finally received delivery it was the incorrect product. Do better! Up-skill your staff better so that they can resolve such matter more efficiently and proactively.
By far the worst courier company ever! Their drivers are not honest about the deliveries or about the calls they make. With the first instance the driver said he was at our home for the delivery when he clearly was not and we checked our cameras too. The second time the delivery guy said he tried calling and he definitely did not call. I don't know why companies make use of them if they insist on providing such a poor service. Do better! Don't use RAM couriers.
When a store manager makes you believe that she is so sorry for the lack of information you've been given and the way the account was handled. She invites you to come to the store so that she could personally apologize and when you get to the store. She acts the complete opposite to the person you spoke to over the phone and tells you that 'you shouldn't have signed the contract' wow!. Vodacoms employees has no empathy for the inconvenience they cause their clients, lack of professionalism, little to no friendliness and lack of competency. Do better, choose better. Do not choose Vodacom as your service provider. They are so far from their slogan. It should've been.'Better apart'
I've been warned nog to purchase any electrical, mechanical or digital products from Takealot by so many people and companies but I had to experience it for myself and that maybe I'd have a different experience. Gosh was I proved wrong! I purchased a Geek Vape Aegis Touch (T200 kit) - 200w navy blue. I received delivery of the item on the 04 of June 2024, Takealot collected the item on 11 June 2024 as the it wasn't working and there were missing parts. It is 18 June 2024 and the matter is still not resolved. I've requested a full refund and I'm sincerely hoping since this bad experience the refund won't take long. But for future reference and to avoid others from having to go through all this trouble it's best purchasing these items directly from the store. Or any other mechanical, electrical or digital products for that matter. To avoid the stress and time wasting, save yourself the trouble and purchase it from another store. A more credible, reliable store.
Ever felt less than valued as a customer and mislead by a company that you've been with for many years and have not one or two but a few contracts. This past Saturday I called the Vodacom store in Century City to upgrafe my contract. I was in desperate need of a new phone. My old phone was giving me issues. I was assisted by a guy called Mark. He was friendly and helpful, he gave me all the information on the phone and the pricing. He also said he'd get the paperwork ready. I thought this was really great service. However, when we got to the store the guy that assisted us didn't even introduce himself. He escorted us to a seat and said that he would assist us as Mark is not there. We gave him all the information again so that he could start the paperwork it turns out the paperwork wasn't ready as I was told. The information that Mark gave telephonically was very misleading and the representative at the store looked very confused and not very pleasant to deal with. I will not recommend Vodacom for future reference and waiting to move my contracts to another service provider including my home internet. I've had it with them thinking they can mislead and ill treat customers as they please. Save yourself a world of trouble and choose another service provider.
ADT, tried and trusted. My family and I have put all their services to the test over the past year and without fail they delivered. My father in law was very ill and we had to make use of the ambulance service one evening and they sent an ambulance not long after we pressed the A button on the alarm and they called us to confirm our emergency. With great sadness my father in law passed away. They sent the ambulance, of course the police took their time but the armed response guy stood outside our property until the coroners left with the body. Long after that we had an intruder on our property. I pushed the panic button and in no time armed response arrived. We also had to use the F button for fire as my neighbors garage was on fire and the fire truck was sent. My family and I are extremely grateful for this and the impeccable service they deliver. It matters more when you need it most and they actually deliver. We have peace of mind knowing we have armed response and other services with one company ADT, that actually works well. Especially at this day and age. Don't even hesitate or contemplate. If you don't have an alarm with armed response, call ADT.
What an unpleasant, disgraceful, experience. After a great inconvenience! On the 27th of December 2023, I logged a complaint with Fair Cape regarding the fresh cream products I purchased on the 23 December 2023. When I used the Fesh Cream it ruined my Christmas desserts as well as the caramel due to some issue with the Fresh Cream. I dealt with a few customer service representatives who were subsequently dealing with my complaint. One of the advisors I had to check because the tone and how she rep**** in the email were completely unacceptable and unprofessional. The last email I received was on the 04th of January 2024 stating that they are still testing the product. I'm assuming they are hoping that the issue would resolve itself and I would stop making contact with them. How many other cases were treated like mine? Where people eventually give up and cut their losses because it takes too much time to continuously follow up. Why is there a customer service department when they lack the ability and the common decency to engage with the customer professionally and RESOLVE the queries and complaints? It's sad because I now have to find alternatives for Fair Cape Products I've been purchasing for years. :(
