My niece is currently looking for an apartment to rent in Cape Town. Made contact with an agent about what appears to be the perfect spot, , and had no response. After contacting numerous Rawson numbers she gets told on a WhatsApp” Good afternoon, take note that the agent was away for a few days but will get back to you regarding this place ”. Firstly, How rude can you be? Secondly, this implies he is back, so why still no response? Thirdly, if he’s away why did he list the property? And why not have another agent cover when on leave? People are desperately trying to find accommodation at this time and this is the response? Horrible.
I cant believe that yet again I must resort to hellopeter to get the attention of FNB. They have a serious glitch in their procedures! My domestic worker’s FNB account was frozen with no communication or reason given at all. She went to the bank where they said it was because she had to update her details. This was done and she was told all was well. She went to the autobank a day later and the account was still frozen. She went back to the bank and was told they froze her account because she is receiving funds from overseas. Sometimes she receives money as a gift from her son who lives in Canada. It is less than R2000 - not a lot of money. So first question is how can you freeze and account without the courtesy of a warning or exlanation? Second question How on earth did the assistant not even know that this was the reason on her first visit to the bank?!! It gets worse. She provided all the information needed for them to unfreeze the account. She was then told to wait 24 hrs and the account would be opened. about 8 hrs later she receives an SMS and an email to say she has not submitted the required information. She was AT THE BANK AND SUBMITTED IT TO A BANKING ASSISTANT! Just to be on the safe side, I helped her to reply to email and send the documents again. Next day, she gets more messages saying she has not submitted and the account has as yet not been unfrozen. WHAT IS GOING ON AND HOW IS SHE SUPPOSED TO GET ACCESS TO HER MUCH NEEDED SALARY???
I have attempted to open a bank account for a new NPO since 19 Feb. All documents were submitted to the sales person and we received our bank card. However we are unable to actually do any banking as the account has been put on hold. Went into branch and was told I would hear from salesperson and did not. I am now not getting any responses to my calls. this means we have to begin again at another bank, with all the bureaucracy that will require. I am so annoyed.

Ridiculous insurance company. They say they only operate by phone. You wait in a queue to get service. They take details and say you will get a call the next day. A week later you get a call and they then say they are going to email you documents to complete. Why on earth do they not use email from the start!? Now they say it will take up to 30 days for me to get my 3rd party claim resolved. I have a gate broken and security issues because of it and I must wait due to their incompetence and antiquated system. I am so annoyed.
Opened an account for an NPO. While the process was very pleasant at the time, we now have a problem. One signatory lives in Mfuleni, so FNB tookit upon themselves to send her bank card to Khayelitsha. Which is not where Mfuleni is and where we did NOT request the card be sent. Don't they even know the difference between suburbs such as Khayelitsha and Mfuleni??? And now no response to requests to send the card to the requested branch. Still getting sms to collect at Khayelitsha. This is not a great way to start a banking relationship.
Cannot unsubscribe from emails. the link is false. Devious. And other reviews show them to be no good. Would not buy from them if you paid me.
They say no hidden fees, yet the invoice they have deducted R434.78 admin fee because we had a flat tyre, even though we paid extra for full insurance cover. Admin fee?!? I am flabbergasted. They also charged a "one way fee" of R217.39 because when we had the flat we took the car to nearest budget car hire agency to get it fixed, but apparently we should have taken the car back to where we hired it (the airport). How unbelievably unfair is that? Oh, and they charge you to refuel their own vehicles. To date I have not yet seen the actual insurance contract that I paid extra for. Also, they don't even have the decency to send you your statement. they sms you a link that does not work. to find my statement I had to google it. Perhaps so that people don't actually see what they've been charged for?
I was lucky enough to have Lucky (Mr Luckson Magovanyika) assisting me. he went the extra mile, did what he could to solve my documentation problem with home affairs, and then, because I had paid too much, he made sure that I was reimbursed the amount he did not use.
This company has very bad manners when it comes to sending you the bill. They send you a rude sms telling you you have an amount outstanding and if you dont pay it they will hand you over. but they do not have the courtesy of sending you the invoice before sending the rude sms. I have requested an invoice three times, and not received one. Just more threatening sms's. Fix your system MD Inc. !
