We opened an account, set up a debit order and the money left our account since then we have had constant harassment from the staff as well as them showing up at our house more than once and always someone different so our information is being shared. What is being done is totally illegal and they are not an authority. The staff are rude and so unhelpful. We were promised a gift, a rug worth R699 to be exact and we are still waiting. Time to pursue this legally.
This review is specifically for the Pick n pay in Fraaiuitsig, Mossel Bay. Whenever we happen to shop here (not by choice), and we want to pay by card then it declines and one is forced to pay cash. This happens over and over again to so many clients and they are then forced to go and draw cash outside. Now I don't know if this is on purpose so that the store has cash to avoid fees however the staff are aware of what's going on and when one requests to speak to the manager, she is extremely unprofessional about the matter. The cashiers have mentioned that they have spoken to various people in the pick n pay system and nothing gets done. With covid not everyone carries cash. There is not a signal problem there either.
The latest "Disney" promotion where one spends R125 to get a sticker is an absolute rip off. You literally spends hundreds, some well over R1000 to only qualify for 1 item which is certainly not worth the amount spent. Yes it states in the booklet under T&c's but it is a complete ripoff to those completing the booklets. I understand its not compulsory but for those doing it its a joke. One should qualify for all those goods once the booklet is full.
We have been with Vox for a few months now and not a day goes by that we don't sit without wifi/fibre. We call, get told to restart the router, works for 5 mins and then goes off again after I have told the person that's exactly what is going to happen as it happens each time. Each time we get told the famous words "I've logged it and will call you back" which never ever happens as we are still waiting for calls from months ago and no one has ever bothered to make an effort to come and take a look at our router or anything as thats what we are told will happen. Within our first week as Vox clients, Frogfoot contractors damaged our cables and we sat without anything for close to 7 days, we were told to apply for credit that month, which we did and then it got declined because they don't give credit for downtime even though a manager told me we could because of the fact that our cables were damaged by frogfoot. For months we did not receive any communication for down times, after telling them so many times that we don't get informed. The service is absolutely shocking and we are basically paying for a lucky packet... You never know what you going to get that day. Close to R800 a month for this terrible service and product is absolutely disgusting.
The customer service at the Greenacers Branch in Port Elizabeth is disgusting. Firstly, staff and clients being helped by staff also sitting without masks while the shop is as busy as it can be under the circumstances. We sat for an hour only to be "helped" by one of the many rude staff there. When I approached the one lady about the masks it wad announced to the staff and it then became a laughing matter. After explaining that I cannot leave my phone for 4 days for a screen replacement (which we have done before and it took an hour) fue to the nature of my work, the staff member was extremely arrogant and rude and told me that if I can't accept that then best I leave. He kept telling me to let him speak and was not willing to help. While dealing with this rude man, the mask matter was still being discussed with other clients as it seemed to be the biggest joke ever. After speaking to the manager who did not seem to phased about the matter explained that he is the compliance officer and I must understand that this is not a high risk area, yet the law clearly states that masks need to be warn at all times and not in accordance to the level of risk. He proceeded to mention that he has had complaints about staff before. This is also not our first bad experience there, the list is pretty long but unfortunately we have to go there as this is the only repair store in Port Elizabeth. We have heard various complaints about this store. Its always the same staff that are so rude.
