This short term insurance company is the most useless online insurance company I have ever dealt with, when it comes to trying to make changes to my insurance policy with them. After having tried for 1 month to make changes to my policy, it is still not correct and the only conclusion I can reach, is that their online agents are totally illiterate and cannot even speak or read/ write basic English. I mean - I have sent more than 5 emails ( all with the same request for my changes to be made) and despite these written requests, they still cannot get my Policy Schedule correct... I am lost for words and have no idea how to sort this problem out..
I have recently used this furniture removal company to move my household contents from KZN to the WCape. Dealing with them about quotations and queries was fast and efficient and they are very strict about on-time and upfront payment for all the services one contracts from them.... Very quick and fast to ask for upfront payment BEFORE they do anything. My household contents were duly collected and delivered into storage in the WCape as planned. However, upon inspection of my household contents in storage some time after it was delivered, I found some item losses and severe damage to my furniture. Trying to elicit a response now from EEZI MOVE is predictably very slow and hardly forthcoming (unlike their prompt and pushy requests for upfront payments) and when they finally rep**** to my damage reports, they just said that damages/losses to property is normal when moving furniture and that it is part of the risk one takes.... Nothing they can or will do about it. Unbelievable. So, my advice is - stay with the large and reputable furniture removal companies like BIDDULPS or PICKFORDS when planning to move and avoid the fly-by-nights.
It is always a pleasure using this company / online website to send a gift to someone I care about or someone I wish to thank. Easy to use and very quick and dependable delivery. Will definitely use again
Another horror story of a car rental company using sneaky and underhanded methods to fleece their customers out of money. The age old trick where you return a car with a full tank of fuel...after you personally checked that the fuel tank was filled to the brim.... only to get billed by the rental company afterwards ( without any notification or explanation to you) for an additional 10% of fuel... Their excuse is that you only filled the tank 90% full... What absolute nonsense... Just an easy way for the rental car employees to ***** the fuel and make the customers pay for it. Will now also stop using this useless and dishonest car rental company with their arrogant and condescending attitude.
Stay away as far as possible and as quickly as possible from this useless car rental company. I rent many cars every month all over South Africa and WOODFORD stands out clearly as the worst car rental company currently in South Africa. They are dishonest, hide behind the small print in their contracts and what you sign up for in your car rental contract is NOT what you get. For example - if you choose special and extra Tyre and Windscreen insurance with a 100% cover ( as stated on their website)... you in fact ONLY get 60% cover as they still charge a ZAR575 handling fee on any small windscreen chip.... so, don't believe them when they say on their website choices that you get 100% cover for premium insurance extras.... that is a false statement from them. Also, once they have your credit card details, it is like a "free for all" on your account and they just willy nilly debit all sorts of invoices/amounts to your credit card and you have absolutely no control over this feeding frenzy on your credit card. Lastly, they also directly debit your credit card with the full deposit after renting a car ( not just blocking the funds like other car rental companies) and then they take 2 to 3 weeks to give you that deposit back...if you are lucky enough to get it back. I am currently waiting now for 2 weeks to get my large deposit back, while they earn interest on my deposit money in their bank account. So - be warned...stay away from these dishonest people
Worst car rental experience of my life. Stay away from this car rental company. They keep on debiting thousands of Rands against my credit card after I have given their car back in perfect condition and they give absolutely no explanation as to why these debits on my credit card keeps on going off. I have now reported Woodford to the relevant authorities and ABSA credit card ***** division and will open a case at the local SAPS station against this company.
Worst experience of my life with car rental. Dishonest people to do business with and to make it even worse - there is nobody that one can contact for queries. One way traffic with emails from them to me and absolutely no way to get a reply from them. Dishonest as heck... I returned my rental car in perfect condition and the receiving clerk at the airport confirmed that there was absolutely no damage.... only for me to start receiving "one-way" emails a few days later to say that there was huge damage to the car.... unbelievable And now no-one from WOODFORD responds to my queries where this sudden "damage" to the car came from....
This must surely be the absolute worst short term insurance company in South Africa... I have been struggling for more than 2 weeks to get an insurance quote for my cars and household contents from this company. I have phoned them, enquired on their website... and yet despite all of this, they haven't even contacted me back... Santam is supposed to be one of the best in the insurance industry, so I cannot understand why they don't want new business... beats me. The service and responses to my enquiries which I have received from Outsurance and King Price are by far superior than Santam. Avoid Santam at all costs... they are arrogant and not interested in new clients
I have just found out that my 5 year old Suzuki Swift GL is badly rusted all over. I also see on social media that this is a common problem with theses inferior quality cars. The car is rusted all over - engine hood mechanism does not work anymore, body panels and cross members are badly rusted... chassis also. These popular cars are obviously inferior quality as no other car brand will rust after only 5 years. My VW Golf is 15 years old and no/zero rust. The Consumer Protection Ombud should immediately stop/prohibit Suzuki Auto SA from selling any more of their inferior quality cars in South Africa
DON'T RENT A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY.... THEY WILL KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT FOR 3 TO 4 WEEKS AFTER YOU RETURN THE CAR... THEIR EXCUSE IS ALWAYS THAT IT TAKES TIME FOR THEIR BANK TO RETURN THE MONEY TO YOUR SPECIFIC BANK...YET, IT TAKES ONLY SECONDS FOR ANY BANK TO PAY THE MONEY INTO THE BANK ACCOUNT OF DOLLAR THRIFTY UPON RENTING THE CAR.... SO... WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
