TPN Systems / Properties have posted on my credit record that I am in arrears for my Sept Rental. I now have a black mark against my record and have been defamed as my rent was paid on time. I have queried this but have been unable to talk to anyone as the telephone number give for me to contact them, 031 0351871 says the subscriber is unavailable. What is the point of a contact number that does not work unless it is to keep complainants from accessing staff. With any system which actually impacts seriously with people's reputations and their credit ability there must be checks and balances. At no time did TPN check with the landlord, the real estate agent or my self if the rent had been paid and what the situation was. They simply and wrongfully put a black mark against my name. They have now, after an e mail complaint, sent me an sms rectifying and confirming my rent was paid on time . That is insufficient and I need to know how this happened, what is being done to ensure this does not happen again and more importantly what action has been taken against the person who posted an incorrect report that has defamed me.
My internet has been slow and drops connection quite a few times a day. This has been going on for months. It seems that no matter how many people complain or how often they complain MWEB just does not care. They don't respond and they don't remedy.
I have a contract for 60 down and 30 up. Sometimes the download speed is 13 to 15 and the up about the same. I also experience frequent dropping of the connection sometimes briefly but sometimes for many minutes. I work from home and this is badly impacting my performance. I have phoned their helpline which means a wait of over 15 minutes to speak to a technician and on two occasions the line dropped on their side. I was expecting the agent to call back but they did not so I needed to phone again and have the 15 to 20 minute wait. I also tried using their bot but got nowhere there either.

I moved home and the new home does not have fibre. MWEB subcontract the fibre installation to Arizona Civil and the number MWEB give does not work. So you cannot contact them and they do not seem to have a web page. In turn Arizona sub contracts to RGT Fibre. You can get hold of the poor receptionist / junior manager but the telephone number for the manager just never get answered. The team that was supposed to do the install arrived a day and a half late and left after a few hours. The next day they arrived at 11h00 without the tools to do the job but I was forced to pay the full amount for the installation a week earlier. And then when you try and get hold of a manager of Mweb you need to have more than 20 minutes while you wait to speak to someone.
After having a break-in to our Suzuki S Presso and theft of the spare wheel it became apparent that this vehicle is sold without an audible alarm system. In crime ridden South Africa I would have thought it would be standard to have an alarm on a vehicle, but not is some Suzuki vehicles it appears. I was then advised by a Suzuki dealership that if I fit one it will void the warranty. The Suzuki dealer does not offer an alarm as an extra.
The site is efficient and works well however they added a 10% city surcharge onto my account without notifying me. They advertised a night stay in Stellenbosch at R 992 but charges and took R 1079.02 . . I did not see any notification on the site that there was a 10% City charge and it should be included in a detailed breakdown before paying. Also if I cancel the booking I only get R992 back. Seems there is a **** going on here.
I purchased a V-Envie UPS from UPS Warehouse in Jhb 18 months ago and it burst into flames this month. So a warning on the product ( even though they maintain this has never happened before ) and also the customer experience. After two ignored e mails to the National Sales Person I phoned them and there was an immediate denial of responsibility. Through some calls and e mails they stated that their warranty is only for 12 months irrespective of issue , even though this fire was a catastrophic failure than caused smoke damage, and luckily I was at home when it happened and extinguished it quickly they would not entertain any claim or responsibility for their product or even offer a discount if I wanted to purchase a replacement / different unit.
I have ordered twice from PC Link Computers and both times after chasing them up for why I have not received the goods they respond with an answer that they do not have stock and will refund. The first refund took weeks and I had to chase them to receive it. I am waiting to see how long the second refund will take. Seems pointless to place orders with them
I checked the fares before starting and i dislike the way there is a range of pricing. However I was ok with the range which was from about R 260 to R 380. I accepted and left details. The driver arrived on time and was very pleasant and a good driver. The problem was that Uber were now deducting over R 420.00 which had not been in the range I had accepted. I complained and they credited me and charged the highest of the original range. It seems that Uber will try and over change and ifg caught then revert back to the highest they can get away with. Seems a dishonest and unethical way to do business.
