Active since Dec 2020
This company seems to have shut down for Christmas from the 13th December 2025. Phones not been answered and no response to emails. So there clients, who have no connection like us, must wait for them to finish their holidays!! Useless customer care. I called Screamer Telecoms and they had me connected in a day.
I don't know why I didn't check out the reviews on Hello Peter before I used TEMU, because I am normally didligent in doing so. The hype surrounding Temu made me sloppy this time. HOWEVER, the bad reviews about this **** site are completely accurate. Nowhere while making the purchase did they say that the prices do not include VAT and import duties which you will have to pay for. We have got used to dealing with local SA providers who have already imported the goods into SA and paid the VAT and duties on the goods themselves. TEMU doesn't mention this ANYWHERE during the purchase process does it mention VAT and duties still being payable. This is ********! No wonder their prices look attractive. I paid an additional 30% on top of the agreed prices when their partner in crime, Buffalo, sent me an email demanding another 30%. I have seen their stock standard response to other complaints..."Please contact us on ........", etc, which I did but nowhere was there an apology, just a "You should know better".
Please be aware that Planet Fitness is a *****ulent company. I have never been a member nor have I ever signed up as a member but all of a sudden they are submitting debit orders against my bank account. Rumor has it that they are going under and they are now clearly *****ulently obtaining people's banking details and processing debit orders against their accounts. Be very carefull in dealing with this company.
Be aware that Planet Fitness is using a **** to get new members to sign up for 24 months. This **** is obviously sanctioned by the CEO, Manny Rivera, because he has not bothered to correct or respond to the terrible **** they are running at their branches. I have attached my letter to him and their "customer services" dept to which I have still not received a lucid response. Dear Mr Govender (Manager of Umhlanga gym) Thank you for your welcome but I am afraid it is premature unless your thoroughly unpleasant Sales Manager, Raven, (he wouldn’t give me his surname) has managed to sign me up without my signature, which wouldn’t surprise me. As an aside, I have copied the Planet Fitness (“PF”) CEO, as he should be aware of the **** that is being perpetrated by your Sales Manager and his threatening conduct when uncovered. To give you some context, I tried to apply to join your Planet Fitness gym at The Pearls of Umhlanga, yesterday. I was initially served by Antheia, a very pleasant young lady, who I informed I wanted to cancel my Virgin Active Umhlanga contract because the PF at The Pearls gym was more convenient. She explained that they would do a deal for me whereby:- 1. I cancel my Virgin active contract (which was month to month) 2. I sign a 12 month agreement with PF 3. I will get September free workout at PF 4. I immediately pay R149 for my PF tag 5. I will pay R99 a month for Oct and Nov 2024 on the 1st of each month 6. On the 1st Dec I will pay R499 joining fee 7. From the 1st Dec my Discovery Vitality will kick in and I will pay R199.49 a month. 8. If I cancel before 6 months I will pay a 3 month penalty 9. If I cancel after 6 months I will pay a 2 month penalty. These were terms I was happy with and asked her to prepare the contract. She allowed me to work out for an hour to test the facilities and then presented me with a 24 month contract to sign with none of the above terms. I asked her why and she said I would need to speak to her Sales Manager, Raven. Raven came out and I told him that none of the terms I had been told about were on the contract I was presented with and I was told that was because he was “giving me a promotional special” and that after my contract with Virgin was cancelled and my Vitality was available to be transferred to PF, would I then be given another contract with PF along the lines of the above terms. I asked if that undertaking could be incorporated in the 24 month contract terms he wanted me to sign and he responded that if I made one mark on the contract it would be rejected. I asked him if it was reasonable to expect me to sign a 24-month contract and only on his verbal assurance would it be cancelled 20 days later and the above terms implemented. He then became belligerent and told me that he was cancelling the contract and if I still wanted to join PF Umhlanga I should come back after my Virgin Active contract was cancelled, BUT that he could not guarantee that the “promotion” would still be available. I was extremely surprised at his aggressive demeanor and took out my phone to take a photo of his and Antheia’s name tags because I had every intention of reporting his attitude to PF Management. At this stage he covered up his name tag and his face and told me to leave the gym and I was not allowed to photograph his name tag. I could see he wanted to get physically aggressive and was clearly upset because I had uncovered his (or Plante Fitness’ ) **** to get clients to sign up for 24 months!! Perhaps you can explain why you employ such vulgar and aggressive Managers and if you are indeed running a **** that should be made public ? Regards
I was off for a week while Vumatel did their normal *********** thing.... Unfortunately Wirulink are just a sales service for Vumatel and can't do anything about the service. BUT when I told them to negotiate a discount from Vumatel the Muppet that calls himself Wirulinks Customer Relations Manager told me to swallow the downtime because, get this, ITS A BEST EFFORT SERVICE!!, and then this halfwit tries to sell me a business connection if I want a reliable service. You can see this company has no interest in Customer service!
I was concerned about the 1 star review below and decided to call them before placing an order. It was one of those pay as you go numbers that you can't leave a message on, and noone answered. Very suspicious so be carefull.
Adriatic sell generators and as soon as it is out of warranty tell you they cannot support it anymore. And when they do come out under warranty they always find a reason to charge you. My R260k gennie is now a useless lump of Adriatic junk after 1 year!!!
Be warned that this crowd sell cheap generators that then require multiple call outs to maintain and keep working....and that's where you start paying for buying cheap. R1500 a call out that they will charge even for the same fault in the same month or they tell you to get stuffed.
I got great personal attention from Screamer and their Screamer Streamer is the greatest.
Ordered R1200 worth of fish and prawns through Uber on the 31st and not obe of the 6 sauces we ordered were delivered. Phoned the female Manager of Ocean Basket, Nicholway who promised to send the tartar, lemon butter, garlic butter etc sauces within 30 minutes. SHE LIED, and after waiting for an hour we ate their tasteless, dry, cold prawns and fish. Ocean Basket your food is as good as your staff, and you aren't employing very well.
