Worst experience. Waited forever to get a table after we had a reservation. Then waited forever to order our drinks. Waited almost an hour just for a glass of water. Then waited 20minutes after the drinks arrived to order the food. Then waited another hour to get our starter, which came to us so cold and unappealing. Then still waited for our second round drinks. And waited another 30minutes foro ur main, only for it not to be what we wanted. We got up and left. The manager took my number but never contacted me. He said we could come on another time, so we callee today only for us to hear that they are fully booked and service would be slow. What a waste. Never book at The Hyde hotel. You'll wait till next year to be served.
Very bad service. I had my mother's birthday party there. very very bad service. I could not even enjoy my time there. I had to run after glasses and cutlery. I didnt even finish my food and the waiter took my plate. I would not recommend anybody there
I ordered a russian gatsby from calamari fisheries in cape gate. The roll was stale, the chips was soggy and oily and the russians tasted old. There was too much sauce on, as if the place tried to camouflage the rest of the ingredients. I will never order from uber eats or calamari fisheries again. The appearance of the food was also not on standard.
We made a telephonic reservation on a Monday for the burger special. The lady we spoke to confirmed that my partner and I could have two of the specials. When we arrived there, the first waiter also confirmed, but the waiter who brought the food said it is not possible. Our food arrived, the burger was so salty and the chips was fried in old oil. The waiter said it could be because we are the last customers. We sent our food back,only to receive more old oil fried chips. My partner and I was so disappointed that we just decided to pay for our food and leave, but ended up giving our food away to the parking attendant. I will never go to the restaurant again. Bad service and poor quality food.
I wish I could give House and Home N1 City a 0 rating. They are quick to assist you with an account, but their service is the worst I've ever dealt with. I ordered TVs, a bed, fridge, lounge suite and a front loader. They made us wait till dark in an empty apartmenr for our things. The bed, fridge and front loader arrived first. The Tvs the next day. The one TV was damaged, they took it back and returned the following evening with a new TV. The people who delivered the front loader did not inform us to remove the props at the back in order for the front loader not to damage during the spinning cycle. I told the sales person at the store that I have already purchased a mattress protector and we will not be needing one from them. But yet, they still provided the mattress protector. It was told to me, once we have received all our goods we can return the mattress protector. We are living on a bed at the moment, because our lounge suite is out of stock and no feedback has been provided as to when we will receive our lounge suite. I am extremely disappointed, because this is not what I expected from a nationwide store. N1 City House and Home is not a place you can rely on to receive your ordered goods on time. It has been three weeks and still no lounge suite.
