We actually stopped at the "other guys" first, that was a complete waste of time and very disappointing. Thus arriving at Weelee we were already agitated and ready to bite someones head of, well I was, not so much the wife. In steps Frikkie the legend! It did also help that Weelee's warehouse looked and felt "cleaner", if that makes any sense. Buying a secondhand car is never an easy task. Frikkie made us feel comfortable from the start. If we asked a question he could not answer, he found out from someone else. Never once was he insistent like some sales people can get. We took our time, looked at all the cars in our price range and even did a test drive. Frikkie knew when to step away and let us talk, not like most people in sales that almost sit on your lap the whole time and give you no breathing space. Even when I was not entirely happy with the car we tested first did Frikkie change his attitude. He patiently gave us all the other options until we found what we really liked. He did not once mention that the shop was closing and by the time we were finished, we realized that it was way past closing time, and this on a Sunday. We left happy. Come Monday and to my surprise Frikkie is already at it, keeping me updated and sending me the info I asked for. It did not stop there. When I went to pickup the car, on time, the rest of the staff I dealt with at Weelee seemed to have the same attitude as Frikkie, very friendly and supper helpful. I felt special as tehy seemed really happy with me for buying the car. I would recommend buying from Weelee. We certainly had a great experience.
Steven was an absolute pleasure to do business with. Not only was he early, he was done much faster than I expected. He knows his stuff and was full of very valuable tips and information. I am keeping his number.
Yet again, when we needed ADT, they fail me. My wife and children are alone at home, we live on a small holding, I am working late. A guy that was being high jacked found his way down our panhandle. My wife opened for him and when he was safely inside our property, they could still see the perps in the open field across from where we stay. It was clear to my wife that the perps were keeping an eye on her and the almost victim, so at 17:10 she phoned ADT and asked them to please send a car to come assist. As I type this review it is 18:50 and they still have not been. This after I have phoned ADT three times (the first 2 times they simply cut me off) to ask what is happening. I eventually got transfer to an Eric guy claiming to be one of the seniors, his excuse, load shedding. My neighbour, who is also an ADT client, came to my wife's aid. Him and his wife are both over 60 and were able to not only help the guy that was almost high jacked, but they also managed to scare the perps away. 2 old people had to do the work that we pay ADT to do. Pathetic is an understatement. If the management ADT has any self-respect, they will contact me and explain to me what they are going to do to improve the situation because believe it or not, this is NOT the first time I get totally disappointment by ADT.
I have been going to Supa Quick in Midrand for years. Their service has always been excellent and their pricing very decent. Yesterday, as I was filling up, I saw that I had a puncture on my front left wheel. Knowing Supa Quick Midrand was on my way home, I just pumped it up a bit and headed for Supa Quick. I went past them but unfortunately for me they were already busy closing when I got there. I decided to come back the next morning. As I was making a u-turn in front of the Supa Quick shop I drove over a ***** that was sticking out of ground. It was impossible to see this ***** and it was not marked or anything. Unfortunately for me this ***** ended up destroying my punctured tyre. I immediately stopped, got out and realized what happened. I started getting my spare from the back of my car. No one form the shop even bothered to offer me any help but just stood watching as I struggled with the tyre replacement. Not even the manager that I called to show the ***** in the middle of nowhere even pretended to care. Instead he arrogantly remarked that I should look where I am driving and that the ***** was one they used to tie down their gazebo. Supa Quick Midrand will never see me again.
On the 7th of July I logged my first call for my fiber connection that went down. Since then my connection has gone down, without fail, every morning. The connection comes back up sometime during the day. I have not been able to get a trend but it appears that the drops mostly occurs between 08:30 and 09:00. Now although my money goes into the bank account of jumbotech, I have been dealing with metrofibre. metrofibre has been to my house and confirmed that my equipment and my section of the line is not the fault. They did however confirm that there is a fault and that is was on the backbone. This was 2 days ago. I have been in IT, on the operational side of things, for more than 25 years and I am ashamed of what has become of the industry. How can a big company like metrofibre and a well established company like jumbotech, not resolve a simple fiber connection issue? Pathetic is what I would call it. I have been more than patient but now I am done. I would complain about the service but there has been none.
I am not an easy person to please, especially when I must return to a shop to get things swapped out. The guys at Delta 5, in the Centurion branch, understands how to keep a customer happy. I love tinkering, 28 years in operational IT will do that to you, and instead of insisting that I book my PS4 in so they can do the repairs for me, they helped me get the correct parts, and explained how to get things working. Even when it turned out that the parts provided were faulty, they calmly changed them out for ones that did work, never once did I get the impression that they thought I was the issue. Good job guys. I will return to your shop when I again need anything PC or gaming related.
Dealing with Jaco Venter and I must say the service is great. I ordered a few things on on order and one of the items are not available immediately due to a 3rd party issue. Jaco is making a plan for me to get the available items delivered and then we will wait for the one item. In an ever demanding service orientated industry, this kind of service is what we as the customer need from more providers. I will most definitely continue to use PC Link Computers.
Mobile-Fix had my phone for 9 working days to do a simple screen replacement. After a nightmare of a time with the courier they use I got my phone back; the screen is working but no buttons are working. They also said they would replace the screen protector that the phone had but they did not. I will not recommend you use them for any type of repair.
The worst service I have ever had from a courier. I firmly believe that there is not a single person in this company that has a clue as to what is going on. After sending mails and receiving mails they still manage to get the address mixed up. It would not have been a problem if they were on time the first timer round. If you want to wait for your parcel and if you want to experience bad service, then feel free to use MDS Collivery. I for one will ever again use them, neither will every single person I know and am still to meet.
After about a year's worth of disappointments I have decided to close all my fnb accounts. I already moved my bond away from them as I am tired of empty promises, fake services and complete lake of taking responsibility. Monday I tried closing my accounts over the phone and was told to log onto the app and do it, the app stopped working on my phone months ago when fnb stopped supporting my Windows phone. I was then told to go to a branch. I went to the branch just now and after more than an hour still don't have all my accounts closed. Sitting in a branch, talking to the bank on the phone (rember I am sitting in the branch) I am told that the bank that I am sitting in cannot close an account I have with them and that they can only do it over the phone. So I am told on the phone that they have to call me on the phone as they cannot help me or close the account unless they call me, all this while I am on the phone with them inside one of their branches. Absolutely pathetic.
